Find of the Day: Savage Garage’s Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 Rally Car Tribute on Bring-A-Trailer

An Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 rally car is a priceless thing, so the building of replicas has become a much repeated art for those who want their own versions of Audi’s most bonkers Group B rally car. In theory then, you could buy one, build it and run it without the concerns of hurting something priceless. It’s a grand idea.

Case in point is this specimen, reportedly built in Poland out of a 1984 Audi 80 chassis. It’s popped up for sale on Bring-a-Trailer, is located in Potomac, Maryland and “imported to the US by its late owner in 2021”.

Images submitted with the listing confirm this as the replica imported by the Savage Garage YouTube channel. We’ve embedded one of those episodes below.

Worth noting, the car is being offered by the owner’s estate, with import documents and Bill of Sale. Notably, it doesn’t have a title. The ad sates, “it is not intended for road use, and has not been registered for the street. It is being sold on a bill of sale.”

The lack of title may hamper demand for the car. Click on over to Bring a Trailer to see. The listing can be found HERE.
