If you remember the time before the RS 6 arrived in the USA, then you probably remember the weight carried by the A4 allroad. It was Audi’s sole remaining long roof, so enthusiasts desperate for a cool Avant found themselves placing a high degree of importance on it. Audi exclusive paint with unique or more sporting colors was a popular go-to for owners seeking a little something extra. MY2017 represents the first year of the then-new B9 platform. If you were ordering such a car at the time and already prepared to pay the premium for Audi exclusive paint, speccing it up to Prestige with all of the available kit was expected. Unexected, and certainly not common, was to choose Misano Red with color-matched bodywork – a particularly tasteful build.
