Find of the Day: Low-Mile 2000 Audi TT Coupe Neiman Marcus Edition

If you are looking for a rare and iconic Audi that won’t break the bank, this 2000 Audi TT Coupe Neiman Marcus Edition might be the perfect score. Only 100 examples exist and the one listed for sale right now on Bring a Trailer has just 16,000 miles on the clock. Will you be the next owner?

The Audi TT is an iconic car. Especially the 2000 model year cars which were some of the first to arrive here in the U.S. Add to that the limited-edition aspect of this car and you have something really special.

The Neiman Marcus Edition doesn’t add any performance, but you do get an extra dash of style. And style is what these early TTs were all about. The Neiman Marcus Edition cars came with Nimbus Gray Pearl Effect over Moccasin Red leather, xenon headlights, polished chrome 17-inch alloy wheels, and a Bose sound system.

The car up for auction has been moderately modified with an ECU performance chip, KYB shocks, and H&R springs. The Carfax report indicates that a February 2023 accident involving another vehicle resulted in “minor” damage to the front. That is a shame, but we wouldn’t let that stop us from bidding. This car is number 99 of the 100 built.

The original MSRP on this car was $35,475. That is roughly $66,000 in 2026 money. We don’t think this car will bring anything close to that amount of money. A final bid in the low to mid $20K range should be enough to take this car home.

If you do take it home, please note that this early car does not have a rear spoiler. Audi recalled the early TTs because of reports of accidents at high speeds. The solution was to tweak the suspension and add a small rear spoiler to improve the stability. This car doesn’t have that spoiler so it has the pure lines of the original TT, but you might want to be careful at high speeds.

This is a great chance to get an iconic, limited-edition Audi for reasonable money. Don’t let it pass you by. Bidding ends on Tuesday, February 3.
