Find of the Day: 2018 Audi TT RS Inspired by “40 Years of Quattro” Edition

2018 Audi TT RS

The Audi TT RS has long been one of the most exciting compact performance cars Audi has ever built. With its turbocharged five-cylinder engine, quattro all-wheel drive, and razor-sharp handling, the TT RS delivers supercar-level thrills in a small, aggressive package. Now, a modified 2018 TT RS with just 22,000 miles has surfaced at Bring a Trailer auction. And this one pays tribute to one of Audi’s most iconic performance milestones.

This particular example is one of 725 units produced for the U.S. market in 2018, and just 90 were finished in Glacier White Metallic with a black and Crescendo Red interior. The current owner purchased the car in 2020 and transformed it to resemble the German-market “40 Years of quattro” TT RS edition.

Modifications

Under current ownership, the car received tri-color graphics inspired by Audi’s motorsport heritage along with a Dark Matter carbon-fiber aero kit. Additional visual upgrades include black exterior emblems and European-spec OLED taillights, giving the car a more aggressive and exclusive appearance.

Factory performance hardware remains intact, including Audi Magnetic Ride suspension, adjustable drive modes through Audi Drive Select, and 20-inch seven-spoke wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires installed in late 2025.

Power comes from Audi’s legendary turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five, one of the most charismatic engines in modern performance cars. In this example, the engine has been upgraded with Stage 2 tuning from 034Motorsport, pushing output to a claimed 503 horsepower and 438 pound-feet of torque. Supporting modifications include 034Motorsport carbon-fiber air intake, Unitronic turbo inlet and intercooler, Unitronic performance downpipe, upgraded RS Sport exhaust components, DSG oil catch can and Denso spark plugs.

The auction listing includes a copy of the window sticker, maintenance records, spare parts, and a clean Texas title, making this rare five-cylinder coupe an especially appealing find for fans of Audi’s high-performance RS lineup. Bidding ends on Saturday, March 14.
