Find of the Day: 1995 Audi S6 Avant 4.2L Manual Transmission

photos: mobile.de

I’m always on the lookout for interesting Finds of the Day and occasionally, I will wander across the Atlantic to see what’s up in Europe. Being that I’m located in the States, I need to look for cars that will be allowed under the 25-year rule and this one hits that. This is a 1995 Audi S6 Avant 4.2l V8 with a manual transmission and it’s an Audi exclusive color. At least that’s what the ad says but I am unclear when Audi exclusive became available. Here’s the ad (translated from German):

Vehicle description according to the provider

I am offering my Audi S6 with full equipment, exclusive paint, perfect condition and a complete service history at Audi.
First owner 25 years of construction 1949, then briefly a collector who had too much, then me.
Pictures say more than 1000 words
Unfortunately I don’t get enough time to drive the car, it’s too good to stand around.
First contact via message, everything else by phone.

Not the most descriptive ad but he had me at manual V8. Now can you guess the color? I immediately thought Merlin Purple but it seems lighter. Either way, this C4 is lovely and the interior is very clean for an almost 30 year old German with 197k kilometers (122k miles). How much would you think this is? Would it shock you if I said €19,000 ($20,649USD)? If you fancy this 1995 Audi exclusive S6 Avant 4.2l with a manual transmission, you can find it HERE.
