Yesterday, a 1993 Ur-S4 with just under 12,000 miles sold on Bring A Trailer for $33,000. Thirty…three…thousand…dollars.
With this in mind, I decided to search the sites for a similar S4 to see how much people were asking for them but then I ran across this.
This is a 1994 C4 S4 Avant. While it’s not a low mileage example (205,631 kms/127,773 miles), it is slightly more affordable at €6,000 ($7,742) and in my opinion, a more desirable one.
What takes away the desire just slightly is this S4 is equipped with an automatic (boooo) but it does have that glorious 5 cylinder turbo engine. Also, there are no interior shots of the Avant. Oh and it’s not legal to import to the States until May 2019. Wait…did I tell you that this Avant is located in Germany?

So it’s not in pristine condition, there is damage, it’s an automatic, and you have to wait several months to import it but it’s a C4 S4 Avant. I can overlook its flaws.
