Find of the Day: 1990 Pearl White Audi V8

When was the last time you saw an Audi V8? When was the last time you saw one with only 218km (135 miles)? It was Audi’s first car powered by a V8 hence the simple name of V8. As the name implies, it’s powered by a 3.6L V8 (the 4.2L were in models built from 1991 to 1993). Hans-Joachim Stuck and Frank Biela drove the competition model V8 to back to back DTM titles in 1990 and 1991.

This particular V8 has to be the lowest mileage example for sale in the world. Painted in the quintessential Pearl White, it looks factory fresh. Here’s the description:

Time capsule: 1990 PerlweiƟ Audi V8 with only 218 (!) kilometers.

The Audi V8 spent its time in Belgium for the first 157 kilometers of its life. It ended up with us a couple of years ago. We have added an extra 61 kilometers in recent years.

Of the approximately 21,000 copies built, we can say with certainty that this example has the least mileage. A unique car in an even more unique color combination. Pearl white over white rims – Miami Vice style.

The Audi V8 was the first Audi with, as the name suggests, a V8. 3.6 liter V8 delivers a healthy 250 hp. The engine is linked to a 4-speed automatic. In addition, the V8 was the first quattro that could be fitted to an automatic transmission.

It’s for sale in the Netherlands at Bourguignon Classics though it’s not currently on their website yet. A friend of ours sent this to us (Thanks Paul G.!). If you fancy yourself a NOS Audi V8, your chariot awaits.
