Here’s something you don’t see every day: a 2 door Audi 4000. Ok, I don’t see this every day; in fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before. In that mythical land of non-rusted vintage European metal (the Pacific Northwest), there lies this creature. The PNW seems to be filled with vehicles like this; in fact, our Executive Director bought his 1984 4000S quattro from this area and that thing is pristine.
This is a 1980 Audi 4000 two-door. Non quattro and an automatic but look at it…it only looks a couple of years old. Here’s the ad:
Classic 1980 Audi. Rare find. Great running car! Interior looks new and is all original. 5 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, two door.
And that’s it. It’s listed at $5,000 and there’s no mention of mileage. George tells me that the very rare one is the two-door quattro but they were only sold in Europe and in really small numbers. I think someone needs to pick this up and pick it up now. You can find this green machine HERE.
