The Audi 50 was only built for 4 years (1974-1978) while its rebadged Volkswagen stablemate the Polo is still in production. In that time, over 180k 50s were built but they were only sold in Europe. They had either a 1.1L or a 1.3L 4-cylinder; this one has the 1.1L. Here’s the ad:

This 1974 Audi 50LS is a European-market example that is finished in blue over tan cloth and powered by a 1,093cc inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 13″ Smoor wheels, a lowered suspension, front disc brakes, a front sway bar, a heater, and wood trim. The car was imported into the US in January 2018 and was recently acquired by the current owner. This Audi 50LS is now consigned for sale on behalf of the current owner with a repair manual, service records, and a clean California title.

The Audi 50 was produced between 1974 and 1978 and was never officially imported into the United States. This example has been refinished in blue, and equipment includes chrome bumpers, a grille badge, dual side mirrors, clear front turn signal lenses, and a single exhaust outlet. Aftermarket 13″ Smoor wheels are wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport 2000 tires. The suspension is lowered, and a front sway bar and rear strut-tower brace have been added. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The cabin is upholstered in tan cloth with matching door panels and a contrasting black dashboard and carpets. Equipment includes wood trim, sun visors, and a heater. The radio is inoperable.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 180-km/h speedometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer indicates 88k kilometers (~54k miles), and the true mileage is unknown.
The 1,093cc inline-four is topped with a polished valve cover and was rated at 50 horsepower when new. This vehicle is exempt from California smog requirements, comes with a clean and clear California title.
