Many years ago\, poets and thinkers seeking inspiration travelled to Italy from abroad in horse-drawn carriages: it is your turn to be inspired here by a mode of transport with rather more horsepower – the Audi R8! Experience sinuous mountain passes\, stunning landscapes and famous wine routes in sporty fashion and flawless style. Marvel at how unmistakable design and supremely sporty performance harmonize perfectly on Italy’s roads. \nOn day one\, you set off from Munich Airport\, heading for lunch at a scenic stop. Afterwards\, you can unwind in the evening at the first host hotel for the tour. \nThe next morning\, enjoy the delightful drive as you travel towards your next hotel stop. You will find yourself immersed in Italian dolce vita at its finest as you have lunch while admiring the fabulous view. \nOver the next two days you will enjoy a 5-star hotel that will treat you to sophisticated luxury of the highest level. \nOn the final day of your trip\, you drive through Tyrol\, past the Staffelsee (including a stopover in the Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol) and back to Munich\, the tour’s final destination. DESCRIPTION:Seefeld\, Austria Winter Driving Experience \nA winter holiday in Austria conjures up visions of villages covered in a white blanket of snow surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Although the village of Seefeld-in-Tirol is renowned as a fabulous ski resort\, for Audi Club members it is also a place where drivers learn invaluable driving skills from Audi AG world-class driving instructors\, creating memories that last a lifetime. The experience begins in Munich with a multitude of attractions. Whether you’re interested in history\, architecture\, museums\, art or a visit to the Hofbrauhaus\, there’s always something to do in this multi-faceted city. \nThe journey continues to the mecca of all things Audi — Ingolstadt. Club members lunch with Audi AG VIPs and enjoy a factory tour. Weather permitting\, Audi AG instructors will give R8 rides to members on the Audi driving experience circuit at Neuburg. Late afternoon\, the bus heads to the Austrian mountains and a beautiful alpine hotel in Seefeld to meet the winter driving instructors. \nFor two days\, participants will challenge their driving skills in exercises such as ABS braking\, accident avoidance\, understeer\, oversteer\, power slide\, rhythm slalom and final full-circuit timed laps. Surrounded by the Tyrolean Alps\, enjoying the luxury of a five-star hotel\, saunas\, massages\, magical sleigh rides and camaraderie with Audi Club members is something you won’t want to miss! \n  \nSpots are opening up to waitlisted attendees first.  \nJoin our Winter Driving Waitlist here to mark your name down!  \n  \nThis years tour will cost $2\,700 USD for a driving spot and $1\,500 for non-driving guests. This cost covers your shuttle from Munich to Austria and back\, coordinated meals while on tour\, and your hotel in Austria. Schedule of events is as follows: \n\nMonday\, January 16th – shuttle to Ingolstadt for tours and lunch\, followed by shuttle down to Austria\nTuesday & Wednesday\, January 17th-18th – full training days\nThursday\, January 19th – free day for guests\nFriday\, January 20th – shuttle back to Munich for departure flights
