SUMMARY:Audi Club Potomac: Drivers’ Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Audi Club Potomac’s annual High Performance Driver’s Clinic (HPDC)\, sponsored by Audi Silver Spring! (Support sponsors that support Audi Club!) The HPDC will be held on Summit Point’s Jefferson Circuit and should be lots of fun. The event is focused on beginners/novice student participants who are starting to get engaged in track events or those who want to improve their driving skills for the daily commute. \nThis annual PCC-ACNA clinic is an instructional event tailored to the needs of members with no previous driving experience beyond the “normal” daily commute and driver’s ed classes. The clinic provides a safe controlled environment to learn and practice advanced defensive driving techniques and car control through a combination of classroom and on-track exercises. \nFor anyone who wishes to enhance their driving knowledge and enjoy a safer road experience through improved skills\, confidence and understanding\, this event is designed for that purpose. It provides the ideal start for those who may want to progress and participate in our two-day Drivers’ Education (DE) events. ABSOLUTELY NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED and there will be plenty of patient instructors to help guide you through the day. \nOver the past fifteen plus years\, we have developed an outstanding program that puts beginners and novices at ease and offers valuable instruction even for those who have recently started doing Drivers’ Education events. The morning is classroom and car-control exercises including a wet skidpad\, braking\, and slalom. The afternoon finishes off the event by applying what was learned in the morning with on-track driving.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter of Audi Club North America at Dubs at the Lake!\nWe’re excited not only that Dubs at the Lake has returned this year\, but that we are also back as a vendor/sponsor\, and we invite you to cruise with us to this highly anticipated event! Participation is open to everyone and make sure you also register your vehicle with Dubs ($30 ticket) or as a spectator (free entry).\nEvent Details:\nDate: Saturday\, April 26th\nMeeting Location: MARC Train Station\, Point of Rocks\, MD\nCheck-in & Welcome: 6:45 AM\nDeparture: 7:00 AM (sharp)\nDestination: WISP Resort for Dubs at the Lake\nOur group will depart promptly at 7:00 AM for a scenic 2.5-hour drive to WISP Resort. We will have a brief refueling stop in Cumberland\, MD\, with an estimated arrival at Dubs at the Lake around 9:45 AM. As a sponsor and vendor\, we need to arrive by 10:00 AM\, though the show doesn’t begin until 12:00 PM for those choosing to drive separately.\nThis is a toll-free route\, so no E-ZPass is required.\nImportant Notes:\nFRS Radios: Please bring an FRS radio to stay in communication with other drivers and receive updates throughout the drive.\nLimited Spots: This event is open to the first 20 cars\, but passengers are welcome.
