SUMMARY:Audi Club Sierra: Ghost Town of Bodie\, CA & The Bristlecone Pine Forest
DESCRIPTION:On May 30th & 31st we will travel to the town of Bodie\, CA and the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest near Bishop\, CA. The latter is the site of the World’s oldest non-clonal organism\, the Methuselah Great Basin Bristlecone Pine in the White Mountains of CA. It is estimated to be 4\,857 years old. This will be an overnight event since these are remote locations requiring a long drive. \nOur two-day tour route begins in Reno\, NV before crossing into California towards Bodie State Historic Park (Day 1) and Bristlecone Pine Forest (Day 2). Itinerary and route details can be found on our Facebook and Instagram pages. All registrants will receive a confirmation e-mail with route and lodging information. Please email sierrachapter@audiclubsierra.org to register or with any questions.
