DESCRIPTION:High Performance Driving School\nSeptember 15-16\, 2025 \nSitting on more than 500 acres in Millville\, N.J.\, New Jersey Motorsports Park is the premier motorsport entertainment complex in the Northeast. NJMP is conveniently located near Philadelphia and New York City\, offering diverse and dynamic attractions both on and off-track. The Park includes two world-class road courses: Thunderbolt and Lightning. For this year’s event\, we will be on Thunderbolt for both days. \nThe southern road circuit at New Jersey Motorsports Park is our signature Thunderbolt Raceway featuring 2.25 miles of asphalt\, 12 challenging turns\, a one half mile straightway and approximately 40 acres of full service paddock space. Amenities on this circuit include concession buildings\, event garages\, twenty (20) VIP Suites\, banquet rooms\, and a three (3) story timing tower with media center. Click here for a detailed Thunderbolt track map. \nRegistration Fees \nStudents: $445 per student for one day or $695 per student for two days.\nInstructors: Event fees are waived in appreciation of your instruction. \nWhat is a High Performance Driving School? \nThe purpose of a driving school is quite simple: to improve your driving skills. We conduct the school on a racetrack under the close supervision of experienced and trained instructors. You will learn how to handle and control your vehicle at speeds not normally attained on public roads. This will help to prepare you for emergencies in normal driving. It will also allow you to explore your capabilities as a driver and those of your vehicle in a controlled environment. At no time will you be encouraged to go any faster than is comfortable. All participants will be organized into run groups in accordance with experience\, skill\, and type of vehicle. \nWhat you learn on the track depends on your driving skill. Beginners are taught driving style (smoothness\, consistency\, the ability to read the track)\, more experienced participants continue to work on consistency\, while developing new skills such as trail braking and threshold braking. As a beginner\, every time you are on the track\, you will have an experienced instructor with you in the passenger seat. \nFor experienced drivers\, you can be “signed off” and drive solo when you have proven to your instructor and the Chief Instructor that you understand the basics of high speed driving\, you can consistently drive the correct line\, and you show proper etiquette on track. Maturity\, good judgment\, skill\, and significant experience will lead to being signed off for solo driving. \nThough you are on a racetrack\, other drivers of similar driving skills\, it is not a race. Passing in corners is not allowed\, and you are not expected to shift at redline\, or go screaming through each corner with the tires squealing. Safety of the event is of the utmost importance. Driver conduct will be diligently monitored throughout the day by the staff\, instructors\, and corner workers. \nTrack Time \nYou will have four on-track sessions each day varying from 20-30 minutes each. At the end of the 2-day event you will have had between 3-4 hours on-track over the two days. That’s a lot of driving time and a lot of personalized high-quality instruction. \nClassroom \nYour day is divided between driving on the track\, classroom sessions\, and free time. Yes\, this is a school\, and there is mandatory classroom time. All participants are required to attend classroom sessions throughout the day to learn vehicle dynamics and driving techniques. \nIn the classroom\, you learn a lot of high speed driving theory. Learn about the difference between an early and late apex. You’ll get a better understanding of car dynamics so you understand what is really happening when you brake or why your car understeers or oversteers in certain circumstances. Each classroom will also include an opportunity for Q&A. \nDo I need to own an Audi? \nWe welcome all makes of cars — you don’t have to drive an Audi to enjoy our events. This school is an excellent way for you to improve your driving skills and have fun too! \nAll participants must simply be members of the Audi Club of North America (ACNA). There is a $49 fee for annual membership. We love welcoming first-timers to our events and we have a good number of first-timers at each one – you will not be alone. Your novice classroom teacher and your personal instructor are ready to make you comfortable and give you the tools and confidence to enjoy driving your car on the race-track. Don’t forget – this is not competition driving. There is no overtaking in corners or racing other cars. This is all about having a safe and enjoyable experience. \nWe have some restrictions on driving convertibles and you will need a helmet. Requirements are on the next page. It’s always a fun time and an opportunity to meet other club members and their families. The banquet will take place at the Finish Line Pub at NJMP’s Clubhouse\, located between the two tracks starting at 6:30pm on Monday night. Banquet location and format will be finalized in September. \nBanquet Fee is $60 when purchased online during registration or $75 on site. \nLodging \nMost club members stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suits for Sunday & Monday nights. Be sure to study all of this information before attending any NEQ track event. \n– Clothing\n– Vehicle Requirements\n– Tech pre-inspection\n– Open Top Cars: Open top car owners read this section carefully!\nNote at NJMP all soft top convertibles must run with their soft top in the down position\, even with a roll bar.\n– Track Terms\n– Tires\n– Helmets: A helmet with a SNELL SA2015 or SA2020 rating are the only helmets that may be used.\n– Flags \nTech Pre-Inspection: \nWell in advance of any on-track driving event\, you’ll need to get your car pre-inspected by a competent mechanic\, who will have to provide a completed and signed copy of the Safety Inspection Checklist form (first page only – Special form for NJ) for you to bring with you to registration. Please get your car inspected at least two weeks before the event to avoid disappointment if the inspection uncovers repairs that must be completed before the car will pass. \nThe Northeast Region of the Audi Club (NEQ) recognizes several Audi-VW tuners and service centers. They are NEQ supporters with years of experience and scores of satisfied customers. As a benefit for NEQ members they will provide free tech pre-inspection for applicants of our schools. Bring your Safety Inspection Checklist form. After inspection they will sign your form to be sure you are eligible for our event. Naturally there will be a charge for any parts or labor that are additionally required to prepare your vehicle. Two of these sites are APR distributors. They are all participants of our events with much experience in regard to car preparation and advice for upgrades. You will also be happy with the services of any Audi dealership but may utilize another dealership or full-time automotive repair shop at whatever rate you agree to . DESCRIPTION:We are very excited about our upcoming NAAC cookout. Get out your favorite car (Audi or other)\nand make your way along rural roads to the Gregory Farm in the beautiful and remote town of\nFrancestown\, NH. The farm is a perfect location with lots of room and a large comfortable barn we\ncan use. The hillside property is surrounded by fields\, fences and jaw-dropping views. \nCome and enjoy good food\, drink and the company of your friends\, fellow members and auto\nenthusiasts. As in the past\, we’ll mingle\, check out each other’s rides\, enjoy the beautiful scenery and farm amenities\, and play some games including corn hole (can you beat William Ellis who donated our custom boards?). We’ll have some raffles and prizes too\, including a year of Audi Club membership. \nNAAC will provide hot dogs\, burgers\, sides and some non-alcoholic beverages. We welcome you\nto bring a favorite dish or dessert to share\, and feel free to bring your own refreshing beverages\,\nincluding the adult variety. \nThe cookout will start at 2pm and end around 7pm\, sunset. Fees are $5 for members who joined in the past 12 months\, $15 for NAAC\, BMWCCA and PCA members\, and $20 for all others. Please register no later than noon September 12. SUMMARY:Audi Club Northwest (ACNW): Maryhill Loops Road Tour
DESCRIPTION:Audi Club Northwest is excited to offer the 18th annual Maryhill Loops Road Tour and Wine Tasting. \nThe Maryhill Loops Road Tour is your chance to drive your car on the first macadam asphalt paved road in the Pacific Northwest! Maryhill Museum’s Loops Road is generally only open to pedestrians and bicyclists (or crazy skateboarders!)\, but ACNW will have private use of the road. Over 2.8 miles and 25 curves (8 hairpins) the road rises 850 feet to its highest point. The drive on the Maryhill Loops Road is a tour so no helmets are required (or allowed)\, convertibles are allowed\, and passengers are allowed and encouraged to come along for the fun! \nOn Friday we’ll get together for a no-host\, optional group dinner at 7:00 pm at D’Avanzo’s Italian Restaurant\, in Goldendale. \nOn Saturday we will tour the Maryhill Museum’s Loops Road beginning with a drivers’ meeting at 8:30 am. For guests and drivers between groups we’ll provide a canopy area for Columbia Gorge winery visit suggestions. On Saturday evening we will gather outside on the Maryhill Winery terrace for wine tasting and a catered buffet dinner. This is an ideal way to relax and visit after a good day of fun driving! \nWe limit the number of drivers at this event to ensure a great experience for all! Because the event is so fun and we limit entries\, the event will sell out quickly so be prepared to sign up right when registration opens! \nEach person who wants to drive on the Maryhill Loops Road on Saturday must complete their own registration. Drivers will be divided into two groups that will alternate driving on the loops road. If you are sharing a car\, you and the other registered driver will be assigned to different groups so that you may each have the opportunity to drive the maximum number of times on the loops road. \nFamily and friends are welcome to come and ride along on the Maryhill Loops Road and you can purchase lunch and the wine tasting and dinner for your guests during registration if they are not going to drive the Loops Road. \nThe following hotels are located in the area:\nQuality Inn\, 808 E Simcoe Dr\, Goldendale\, WA 98620\, 509-773-5881. DESCRIPTION:Join Audi Club Northwest at Area 27 for Ausflug! \nWe’ve set the table once again to bring you the rare opportunity to drive two days at an amazing private facility in the heart of Canadian wine country! \nArea 27 is a world class circuit designed by F1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve to be the ultimate driver’s track. The 3-mile track features multiple elevation changes\, 16 corners including banked and blind corners\, and 4 high-speed straightaways. \nNormally you have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to join the track as a member to experience the track\, but we’re giving you this chance to drive it two days\, back-to-back for much less. The gorgeous clubhouse features views of the track and surrounding area from either the indoor\, climate controlled second floor with glass walls or the 2500 sq ft patio. The paddock is large\, well maintained and will be available to leave your trailers and equipment overnight. \nFor those of you who can’t get enough track time or will be traveling with families\, there is an excellent go kart track at the facility. For the wine fans\, this is the place to be. With over 170 wineries in the Okanogan Valley region\, there is surely something to please most any oenophile. \nThe town of Oliver is a short five-minute drive from the facility and offers food\, gas and lodging options. Around a 30-minute drive away\, the town of Penticton offers more lodging\, several breweries\, excellent food and\, you guessed it\, more wineries! Penticton is also sandwiched between two beautiful lakes\, Skaha Lake and Okanogan Lake. Activities include swimming\, paddling\, boating\, jet skiing\, hiking\, biking and more. \nThis event will be limited to vetted solo drivers only\, as no instruction will be available (we will be conducting lead-follow laps for the first session on Saturday to get everyone familiar with the circuit). Only the first 60 drivers will have the chance to take part in this special opportunity. \nRegistration Fee: \nTwo Days – $895 \nAudi Club Northwest may share event registration information with Audi Club North America (ACNA)\, which aggregates this data for marketing and informational purposes. DESCRIPTION:We have partnered with the Lions Club and Crystal Lake Cars & Caffeine Club\, and have the opportunity to join their annual charity car show on Sunday\, August 31\, 2025 from 10:00 – 1:00\, in downtown Crystal Lake\, IL. All proceeds from the show will benefit the McHenry County Police Charities Shop with a Cop Program. \nIf you would like to show your car\, please pre-register with the Lions Club.   $30 registration fee\, space is limited. This very casual show will be an eclectic mix of all car makes and models – classics\, muscle cars\, imports\, exotics\, you name it! Audi Club Chicagoland will have a special section for our group. \nCar Show: \nRegistration for show cars will begin at 8:00 at the corner of Brink and Williams Streets\, Downtown Crystal Lake.  Don’t want to show your car? DESCRIPTION:Lime Rock’s final major event of the year is the Historic Festival over Labor Day weekend. On Sunday\, September 1st the Gathering of the Marques will be held as part of the weekend events. The Gathering displays an incredibly diverse collection of sports\, performance\, and classic cars. Hundreds of cars will line the track grouped by make\, model\, or country of origin. \nNEQ will join the Gathering with our Audis lining up on the Lime Rock track. Last year we had 26 Audis participate. We will set up a tent and provide some refreshments. \nMembers should bring their own pop up chairs or blankets to sit on. You can bring your own lunch and have a picnic or purchase food from food trucks/vendors on site. \nThe 42nd edition of the Lime Rock Historic Festival once again brings together an exciting and diverse field of historic racing machines for a Labor Day Weekend celebration of speed\, sound and beauty with classes that range from pre-war open-wheel cars to the sports and formula cars of the postwar era. \nMore than racing\, there’s also a swap meet\, automobilia\, featured speakers\, concessions\, and more to enjoy over the long weekend. \nAs a part of HF42’s Sunday in the Park\, The Lime Rock Concours offers a special line up of beautiful and historic cars across several groups to vie for the Best-in-Show Award. \nDress in your Sunday best to wander around the Park and gander at the finest examples of automobiles and motorcycles in the northeast. \nSunday’s second event is the Gathering of the Marques\, which hosts enthusiasts and clubs representing nearly every make and model\, all arranged around the 1.5-mile Lime Rock course. This reserved display area is located behind the Old Kane County Court House on Third Street and is adjacent to the official Concours site. The entrance is on James Street at Fourth Street. The Car Club Display area has become a popular addition to the Geneva Concours experience. \nCome spend a relaxing day in Geneva. You will see spectacular cars surrounded by wonderful shopping and fantastic restaurants of all kinds. Plus\, you do not want to miss the special Awards ceremony at 2:30 pm which is narrated by the renowned automotive historian\, Bob Joynt.
