DESCRIPTION:Come join us for some fun on the Ice. Audi Club Wisconsin once again will have Ice Driving Schools on Lake Sinississippi in Hustisford\, WI. We use this shallow lake to provide a safe and structured environment for our attendees. We do NOT hold an event unless the lake has sufficient ice depth to accommodate our event\, and we test that depth prior to each event. The lake is prepared by snowplow prior to the event to establish our slalom\, accident avoidance\, skid pad\, and road course exercises. The course will be ready to go after you attend a warm classroom session when you arrive at the event. DESCRIPTION:Come join us for some fun on the Ice. Audi Club Wisconsin once again will have Ice Driving Schools on Lake Sinississippi in Hustisford\, WI. We use this shallow lake to provide a safe and structured environment for our attendees. We do NOT hold an event unless the lake has sufficient ice depth to accommodate our event\, and we test that depth prior to each event. The lake is prepared by snowplow prior to the event to establish our slalom\, accident avoidance\, skid pad\, and road course exercises. The course will be ready to go after you attend a warm classroom session when you arrive at the event. We have a jam-packed day planned and hope that you can join us for all of it\, or if time is an issue\, just attend the parts that you can make. \nHere is our Agenda for the day:\n10:15—Meet at the America on Wheels Museum at 5 North Front Street\, Allentown\, PA 18102 (See map). There is plenty of off-street parking at the museum.\n10:30—The museum’s executive director will give a one–hour seminar series on Auto Latina\, a merger of Ford and Volkswagen in Latin America in the 1980s.\n11:30—We break and head out to lunch. Our location is still being finalized\, but it will be either on Hamilton Street or at the Lehigh Valley Mall.\n1:30 pm—We will tour RB Restorations & Collection (website)\, which is adjacent to the America on Wheels Museum. We will see their showroom and active workshop. The tour will take approximately 45 minutes.\n2:30 pm—After the RB tour\, we can return to the America on Wheels Museum and visit more of the exhibits. It is you\, behind the wheel of your car\, on the world famous three-mile road east course at Thunderhill Raceway Park.\n– It is safe\, controlled\, and welcoming. Audi Club Instructors help you find confidence and skill in high performance driving and car control situations.\n– It is fun! We have a whole weekend to enjoy both on and off the track activities. \nWhether this is your first time or your tenth time attending an Audi Club driving event\, we are confident that you will have a great time. The event is open to all skill levels from first timers to advanced drivers. All makes are welcome at Audi Club events. \nNovice (A-Students\, First Timers) will spend Saturday morning in car control exercises during which you will develop skills and learn the practical side of vehicle dynamics. The exercises are designed to enhance your car control skills in a controlled and safe environment. The Novice run group will begin their on track sessions at/around 1:00pm Saturday afternoon. \nThe Winter Driving Event will take place at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows\, California. We will be running the eastern 3.0 mile counter-clockwise configuration of the Raceway that is an SCCA track that includes several elevation changes\, short & long straights\, and a number of technical turns. It is considered to be one of the safest\, and best tracks in America for drivers to improve driving skills. This unique combination of safety and complexity creates the recipe for a great driving experience. \nRegistration Fee\nThe cost to attend the Winter Driving Event for students is $725. Your registration fee includes two full days of on-track learning\, classroom instruction\, a light breakfast\, lunch each day\, and dinner on Saturday evening. This is an extraordinary value! Lemmon is an exhilarating drive\, offering tight twists\, switchbacks\, and short straightaways through stunning western scenery. With dramatic rock formations\, box canyons\, and 360-degree views\, it’s a challenging and unforgettable drive—especially when the road is clear. \nFun Fact:\nMt. Lemmon is named after botanist Sara Plummer Lemmon\, who trekked to the summit on horseback and foot in 1881.

DESCRIPTION:The Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard will take place from Thursday 11 – Sunday 14 July 2024.\nTickets go on sale to the general public on Monday 6 November.\nCustomers can get early access from Monday 30 October by joining the Goodwood Road Racing Club Fellowship.\nAfter an amazing weekend of hillclimb action and anniversaries celebrating 30 years of the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard\, Goodwood is delighted to announce that the 2024 event will take place from Thursday 11 – Sunday 14 July. \nLast weekend saw the Festival of Speed celebrate its 30th anniversary in style with a trio of thrilling balcony moments for Ferrari Le Mans winners James Calado\, Antonio Giovinazzi and Miguel Molina\, a host of MotoGP™ teams and riders and four-time Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel.  \nVisitors to the event were some of the first to see automotive world exclusives\, debuts and reveals\, with this year’s event hosting the biggest number of debuts seen at the Festival of Speed in its 30-year history. \nAs motorsport’s ultimate summer garden party returns to West Sussex in 2024\, fans can expect to see even more global car launches\, discover the latest technology and meet their motorsport heroes. \nWhen do tickets go on sale?\nTickets for the Festival of Speed go on sale at goodwood.com on the following dates: \nSaturday 28 October – Goodwood Road Racing Club Members\nMonday 30 October – Goodwood Road Racing Club Fellows\nMonday 6 November – General Public\nAs in previous years\, children ages 12 and under go free and a Young Person ticket will be available for those ages between 13 and 21. In addition\, our Thursday STEM programme will return with even more interesting and interactive displays\, exhibits and talks.  \nJoin the Fellowship to receive an additional 10% off on Festival of Speed tickets\nMembers of the public can get early access to tickets and buy from Monday 30 October by joining the Goodwood Road Racing Club. All ticket holders who were affected have now been contacted\, with a large proportion choosing to roll over their tickets to 2024. This means that Saturday 13 July 2024\, is already limited and we anticipate that the remaining tickets will be in high demand.  \nFurther details of the 2024 motorsport events will be announced in the months ahead.  \nThe 2023 events season has been spectacular at Goodwood so far\, as we celebrate 75 years of motorsport\, 30 years of the Festival of Speed and 25 years of the Goodwood Revival and Goodwood Road Racing Club.
