DESCRIPTION:Come join us for some fun on the Ice. Audi Club Wisconsin once again will have Ice Driving Schools on Lake Sinississippi in Hustisford\, WI. We use this shallow lake to provide a safe and structured environment for our attendees. We do NOT hold an event unless the lake has sufficient ice depth to accommodate our event\, and we test that depth prior to each event. The lake is prepared by snowplow prior to the event to establish our slalom\, accident avoidance\, skid pad\, and road course exercises. The course will be ready to go after you attend a warm classroom session when you arrive at the event. After the classroom instruction\, we head out to the ice\, so you can maximize your learning opportunities! \nThis event is open to all drivers – and we encourage parents to bring their drive-age teens (18 or over) who have a valid driver’s license. \nComplete details and sign-up is available at MotorSportReg.com

Participants will start their day at the Georgetown Lake. We will provide a short presentation covering safety\, winter driving techniques and schedule. After the presentation\, participants will put their cars through exercises on varied snow and ice conditions\, allowing participants to practice extreme winter/ice conditions. DESCRIPTION:Audi Club Northwest presents University of Quattro Driver Skills and Teen Clinic at Pacific Raceways \nDriver Skills is a one-day clinic on the fundamentals of performance driving hosted by the Northwest Chapter of Audi Club North America. Appropriate for novices and experienced drivers alike\, Driver Skills will make you a safer\, more competent driver. Working 1:1 with our Audi\, BMW and Porsche club instructors\, students rotate in small groups through the following educational segments: \nGround school (classroom)\nSlalom\nWet skid pad\nThreshold braking and accident avoidance\nFigure-8\nAutocross\nDriver Skills runs from 7:50am (gates open at 7) to 3:30pm\, followed by an optional segment which runs to 5pm. \nNone of the segments involve timing or competition. Instead\, you work 1:1 with our instructors at a pace appropriate for your experience and comfort level. Together\, the segments improve your ability to look ahead\, place the car precisely\, control weight transfer\, steer with the throttle\, and brake effectively. Run groups are small\, which means that wait time between runs is minimal. At the end of the primary sessions\, students are encouraged to apply the lessons of the day in an optional segment on a large maneuvering course. \nMany see this program as a great way to improve their driving and car control skills for everyday driving in any weather conditions.  In addition\, this course prepares and qualifies you for high-performance driving education (HPDE) events with the local Audi\, BMW\, and Porsche clubs. \nThe Driver Skills participation fee is $185\, including lunch. ($105 for qualified teen drivers). \nAudi Club Northwest may share event registration information with Audi Club North America (ACNA)\, which aggregates this data for marketing and informational purposes. Shared information is managed according to the ACNA privacy policy.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Eastern PA Chapter as we head out west to Lebanon county to visit the most intact and complete charcoal-fueled ironmaking complex found in America. The Cornwall Iron Furnace (1742-1883) is the only surviving intact charcoal cold-blast furnace in the Western Hemisphere\, a testament to the once great iron industry that flourished in South-Central Pennsylvania and our nation. \nThe Cornwall Iron Furnace is near Mt Gretna and easily accessible from the PA Turnpike\, Route 322 or 422. \nPlease join us on Saturday\, February 22nd at 10:45am for our tour that starts at 11am . Please note the tour is indoors\, but portions of the tour are not heated\, so dress appropriately. \nThe cost is as follows:\n$8 per person admission \nWe will head out to either The Bluebird Inn or the Quentin Tavern after our tour for lunch.
