Event Type

Once again, the Audi Club Wisconsin will be holding two Ice Driving Schools at Lake Sinnissippi in Hustisford, Wisconsin. Weather permitting!!   January 19 , 2019. Keep your fingers crossed for thick ice and pleasant temps.  Registration is open!

Ice racers from the Wisconsin Auto Group and instructors from our chapter will instruct participants on correct procedures of car control on ice.

We will meet at the Town of Hustisford’s Village Hall at 8:00 A.M. for refreshments, registration, introductions, and orientation. From there it will be on to the lake for hands-on instruction. At lunch time, we will return to the Village Hall where lunch will be served. Lunch is included in your $65 registration fee.

The afternoon continues with more driving exercises on the lake, concluding around 4:00 P.M. If all goes well, we’ll be able to try our skills on the ice racing course!

This is not a high-speed event! It’s open to members and friends and we encourage parents to bring their driver-age teens with a valid driver’s license or a learner’s permit.

You don’t have to drive an Audi to participate, but you need a vehicle that’s in good working condition! Snow tires (4 of them) are recommended for all cars participating in the event. At a minimum, cars must have all-season tires.

The event is limited to 40 people, so an early registration will reserve your spot. You can attend both events, but have to register separately for each one. Go to www.motorsportreg.com to sign up.

If you don’t have an account, open one. It’s free and they never share your information. Once you have your account, scroll down the calendar to the event and click on it. Fill in all the needed info and have your credit card ready to pay online and complete your registration. Then get ready for a really good time!

The cost is $65.00 per person, which compared to other ice driving schools is a real deal. If the Club has to cancel because of unsafe conditions, you’ll get a full refund.

If you have any questions, contact our event master, Mike Slagle at 262.488.9005 or [email protected]
