July GTG and Fun Drive to Mt Summit, Indiana

1000 Degree Wood Fired Pizza

We want to give everyone a head’s-up and some initial details for the event we have planned for Saturday, July 20. It is basically a two-stage backroads drive, followed by lunch at Thousand Degree Pizza in Mount Summit, IN. The two stages are a 75-minute drive from the east side of Indy (see below) to Brookville, IN, where there will be about 45 mins for participants to see Brookville, the reservoir, the dam and the local canal town Metamora, followed by a 90-minute drive from there to Mount Summit where we will have lunch.
Meeting details: We will meet at Wendy’s restaurant on Post Road just south of I-74 (exit 96) between 8:30 – 8:45 am on Saturday July 20. There is a Shell station across the street for gas/bathrooms/supplies etc. We will give out the route instructions and maps, then depart Wendy’s at 9:00 am sharp.
We hope you can join us! Please let me know if you have any questions. If you can’t make the drive, but want to meet for lunch, that’s fine and we will see you at One Thousand Degree in Mount Summit. But you will miss some fun driving! 🙂
