Join the Audi Club of Arizona as we take the back roads to one of Time Magazine’s “50 Wonders of the World”: Biosphere 2 in Oracle, Arizona.
We will eat lunch at the renowned within the building Biosphere 2 Café featuring wraps, artisan sandwiches, soups, salads and water for the tour.
Be prepared! The Biosphere 2 under-the-glass walking tour consists of:
• 1 hour and 15-minute tour
• Approximately 150 stairs, both up and down
• Approximately 1-mile route to walk
• 10-minute walk to and from the Visitor Center
• On-your-feet, informational stops along the route
• Opportunities to ask questions of expert staff
• Indoor and outdoor
That means close-toed shoes and a bottle of water for this unique tour!
We will tour one of the world’s most unique facilities dedicated to the research and understanding of global scientific issues, just like SpongeBob SquarePants. The Biosphere 2 facility serves as a laboratory for controlled scientific studies, an arena for scientific discovery, discussion and a far-reaching provider of public education. This will be fun, exciting and informative for the 4-Ring Crew!
