We will be “glamping” it up and canoeing the beautiful Elk River in Noel\, MO just three hours south of Kansas City.\n\nOn July 18\, we will drive down together to River Ranch Resort for a short getaway including canoeing. We typically stop for lunch at The White Grill in Nevada\, MO. The club has already reserved canoes\, kayaks\, and “glamping pods” for sleeping arrangements. We will only have spots for 9 couples (18 persons) as space is limited! Spots are first-come\, first-served.\nAccommodations: There are nine glamping pods. Please visit the website for more information and pictures. https://www.riverranchresort.com/. The pods are air-conditioned\, have dressed beds\, and fit two people maximum. Private restrooms are located within 25-feet from the pods. After tax\, the total cost for the pods for two nights is $300.Float: You can choose a canoe or a single or tandem kayak. Then Sunday after breakfast you can hit the road\, either back to see sights missed on the way down\, or continuing your Route 66 journey as far as you like!

DESCRIPTION:Audi Club Northwest presents the July Driver Skills and Teen Clinic at Bremerton Motorsports Park! \nDriver Skills is a one-day clinic on the fundamentals of performance driving hosted by the Northwest Chapter of Audi Club North America. Appropriate for novices and experienced drivers alike\, Driver Skills will make you a safer\, more competent driver. Working 1:1 with our Audi\, BMW and Porsche club instructors\, students rotate in small groups through the following educational segments: \nGround school (classroom)\nSlalom\nWet skid pad\nThreshold braking and accident avoidance\nFigure-8\nAutocross\nDriver Skills runs from 7:50am (gates open at 7) to 3:30pm\, followed by an optional segment which runs to 6pm or dark\, whichever comes first. \nNone of the segments involve timing or competition. Instead\, you work 1:1 with our instructors at a pace appropriate for your experience and comfort level. Together\, the segments improve your ability to look ahead\, place the car precisely\, control weight transfer\, steer with the throttle\, and brake effectively. Run groups are small\, which means that wait time between runs is minimal. At the end of the primary sessions\, students are encouraged to apply the lessons of the day in an optional segment on a large maneuvering course. \nMany see this program as a great way to improve their driving and car control skills for everyday driving in any weather conditions.  In addition\, this course prepares and qualifies you for high-performance driving education (HPDE) events with the local Audi\, BMW\, and Porsche clubs. \nThe Driver Skills participation fee is $185\, including lunch. ($105 for qualified teen drivers). \nAudi Club Northwest may share event registration information with Audi Club North America (ACNA)\, which aggregates this data for marketing and informational purposes. SUMMARY:Audi Club Northeast (NEQ): Gathering of the Marques
DESCRIPTION:Lime Rock’s final major event of the year is the Historic Festival over Labor Day weekend. On Sunday\, September 6th the Gathering of the Marques will be held as part of the weekend events. The Gathering displays an incredibly diverse collection of sports\, performance\, and classic cars. Hundreds of cars will line the track grouped by make\, model\, or country of origin. \nNEQ will join the Gathering with our Audis lining up on the Lime Rock track. Last year we had 26 Audis participate. We will set up a tent and provide some refreshments. Members should bring their own pop up chairs or blankets to sit on. You can\, bring your own lunch and have a picnic or purchase food from food trucks/vendors on site. \nThis year’s Featured Marque\, Alfa Romeo\, provides a fitting backdrop. DESCRIPTION:Join Audi Club Northwest at Area 27 for Ausflug! \nWe’ve set the table once again to bring you the rare opportunity to drive two days at an amazing private facility in the heart of Canadian wine country! \nArea 27 is a world class circuit designed by F1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve to be the ultimate driver’s track. The 3-mile track features multiple elevation changes\, 16 corners including banked and blind corners\, and 4 high-speed straightaways. \nNormally you have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to join the track as a member to experience the track\, but we’re giving you this chance to drive it two days\, back-to-back for much less. The gorgeous clubhouse features views of the track and surrounding area from either the indoor\, climate controlled second floor with glass walls or the 2500 sq ft patio. The paddock is large\, well maintained and will be available to leave your trailers and equipment overnight. \nFor those of you who can’t get enough track time or will be traveling with families\, there is an excellent go kart track at the facility. For the wine fans\, this is the place to be. With over 170 wineries in the Okanogan Valley region\, there is surely something to please most any oenophile. \nThe town of Oliver is a short five-minute drive from the facility and offers food\, gas and lodging options. Around a 30-minute drive away\, the town of Penticton offers more lodging\, several breweries\, excellent food and\, you guessed it\, more wineries! Penticton is also sandwiched between two beautiful lakes\, Skaha Lake and Okanogan Lake.
