Join us for a Fall drive, diving on some colorful back roads to beautiful Elkhart Lake. We will be leaving from Audi Noth Shore around 9:30am (we will also have a group leaving from the Appleton area too). Once we all arrive at Elkhart Lake, we will take a couple of slow laps around the 1950 Historic Race Circuit and then tour some of the 1951-52 race circuit that all happened on public roads. Yes, before there was a Road America racetrack, they raced on the streets and roads in and around the village of Elkhart Lake.
We’ll relive the 1950-1952 races as there are 14 historic road markers along the route describing some of the events that happened during those races. While you cannot drive the complete 1951-52 circuit, we will try to drive as much as we can by Audi power.
After the drive around the race circuits, we will meet for lunch (individual checks will be provided) at Road America’s racing fan’s favorite go to place for food and drinks – the Stop-Inn Tavern at the famous Siebkens Resort.
