Join us on September 12th for a scenic Drive & Dine to Nakoma Resort in Clio, California!
Event Details
We’ll meet at 10:30 a.m. in the truck parking lot behind the Shell station at 8755 Red Rock Road approximately 20 miles north of Reno. We’ll depart promptly at 11:00 a.m. for Nakoma Resort, located at 348 Bear Run in Clio. We expect to arrive around 12:45 p.m. for our lunch reservation.
The Route
The 66-mile drive to Nakoma Resort will follow US-395 North, CA-70 West toward Vinton, CA-49 South, CA-89 North, and then McLears Road to Bear Run. The drive should take approximately one hour and 30 minutes. Following lunch, everyone will make the return trip to Reno on their own. Traffic permitting, the suggested route is CA-70 East to US-395 South, covering approximately 65 miles in one hour and 20 minutes.
We hope you’ll join us for a beautiful drive, delicious food, and great company! While there is no cost to attend, attendees are responsible for lunch and any miscellaneous expenses incurred.
