On May 30th & 31st we will travel to the town of Bodie, CA and the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest near Bishop, CA. The latter is the site of the World’s oldest non-clonal organism, the Methuselah Great Basin Bristlecone Pine in the White Mountains of CA. It is estimated to be 4,857 years old. This will be an overnight event since these are remote locations requiring a long drive.
Our two-day tour route begins in Reno, NV before crossing into California towards Bodie State Historic Park (Day 1) and Bristlecone Pine Forest (Day 2).
