Board Meetings are Open to All

We generally hold the Board Meetings on the second Tuesday of each month (the week after the national organization holds its meeting). Often, a Zoom (remote) meeting, but usually we get together face-to-face once every quarter somewhere in the suburbs.

Contact us if you want to be involved. It is open to all members.

Chapter Leadership

President

John Camilleri. Member since: 2015.

I have been an Audi devotee since 1998. Over the years, we have had A4s, S4s, RS4s, Q5s, and a TTRS. Our current lineup is an A3 convertible, two A4s, and a Q5 plug-in hybrid.

I have participated in many Audi events over the years from track days, rallies, socials, and country road drives, and everything in between.

Vice President

Chris Nellenbach. Member since: 2020.

I drive a 2002 denim blue TT coupe and have very much enjoyed taking it on the drives and concours days with the Eastern PA chapter. I’ve participated in neighboring chapter events as well which include autocross and cars and coffee. I’m honored to be on the board and look forward to helping plan some great events for our chapter.

Treasurer

Richard Kessler. Member since: 1997.

Along with Saul Rivkin (President, who has moved to Colorado) and Jon Kern (Web Guy), I have been helping out the Club for years around our events.

I have long been associated with car clubs, including NEQ, Riesentoter, etc. I have owned numerous Porsches and Audis.

Professionally I am a lawyer.

Event Planner

Craig Kerschner. Member since: 2018.

My love for the Audi Community has continued to grow since stepping into an A6 in 2012. I have upgraded a bit since then 😆.

I went from being the guy who brought great food to the early Audi GTGs at the Pagoda in Reading. To being involved with organizing and promoting all Audi GTGs. These events brought together enthusiasts from all over the East Coast. Seeing 70 Audis at our events became the norm.

I am also an Admin on the Philly Audi Group page and am working to grow that community.

Not afraid to help out when it comes to anything Audi-related. From working on Cars… to letting my brain be picked….. to just listening.

Secretary & Webmaster

Jon Kern. Member since: 2006. (Though I recall joining earlier, maybe with my first Quattro purchase in 1988? I must have let it lapse.)

Jon loves to code… but when he is not, he loves to travel the world with his wife/family. He is a part-time mountain climber, non-expert skier, a coffee and craft beer lover, and an Audi fanatic since 1978.

  • 1973 Audi 100LS (4 cyl, purchased used in 1978, threw a rod in late 1980)

  • 1984 Audi Coupe GT (5cyl reference), purchased new
  • 1988 Audi 80 Quattro (5cyl), purchased new
  • 2000 Audi A6 2.7T (got to 238K miles, rod knock, selling it), purchased new
    • ~400 WHP Silly Rabbit Hybrid K24 turbos, intercoolers, cold air intake, PSS9 Coilovers, H&N HD sway bars, CCW wheels, South Bend stage 3 clutch, custom single stainless steel exhaust (pics)
  • 2016 Audi A6 3.0T (purchased used in 2019, my wife’s “prestige package”)
  • 2015 Audi S8 (APR stage 1, purportedly 700 hp). Purchased used in August 2021. It is a spectacular vehicle.

Professionally…

Jon is an aerospace engineer by training, but through that work, he morphed into doing more and more software as a means to solve problems and provide useful end-user solutions. Jon is passionate about helping folks succeed by delivering business value through software. On the side, he and some friends founded blazemark.com to help save lives and protect property — Jon loves working with firefighters, emergency responders, and corporate EHS and risk managers.

His varied career has spanned cruise missile jet engine R&D, flight simulators (e.g., F-14 and F/A-18), to being an object-oriented software architect and lightweight process evangelist through the 90s. Jon co-authored books with Peter Coad and helped to found the very successful TogetherSoft products and company. Jon lived half-time in St. Petersburg, Russia, for a few years in the early 2000s to lead the TogetherSoft development team.

Jon is a co-author of the (now famous) Agile Manifesto for Software Development (2001), which took the software world by storm and created a worldwide movement to improve the delivery of software by focusing on delighting customers and instituting a learning culture with a sustainable pace.
