Over the years, quattro Magazine editor-in-chief, George Achorn, and I have taken many long road trips to Audi Club events, races, and car shows. We’ve logged thousands of miles together and occasionally run out of things to talk about. So how did we kill time? We would come up with back stories of the people driving around us. Some were humorous, some were fantasy but it did the job…we’ve never gotten bored on a road trip.
The Audi RS 6 Avant configurator just went live on audi.de. You may have also noticed that Audi marketing put out these absolutely fabulous photos…we certainly did. We were always wondering what happened to Techno Viking and the blue-haired girl. Did they get together after the parade? Is this where they have been since that fateful day?
As such, we started to come up with some humorous back stories on this couple here and then the idea struck us…why don’t we turn it over to people who are more creative than us and see where this goes?
So we came up with a little contest: post your back story that goes with these photos and whatever is the funniest or most serious (think Bond), you can win an Audi Club hat (limited to North America)! We’ll publish all the stories in another post but please keep it clean…
