Whether you’re a fan of Michèle Mouton or a collector of scale Audi models, you don’t have to pick a side. Ottomobile has just released (and started taking pre-orders) of a new 1:18 scale set that’s definitely worth a second look.
The car in question is a 1983 Audi quattro A2 in Tour de Corse Michèle Mouton / Fabrizia Pons spec. By ’83 Audi had moved on from its Group 4 racers and debuted its A2 with wider fenders, lower weight and 30 more horsepower at the Tour de Corse. The factory quattros at this race also had BBS Turbo fans for a very memorable look.
This model also comes as part of a set, complete with matching Audi Sport Volkswagen LT45 support van and trailer for the car.
