Tell us about yourself:

I’m originally from central Maryland and moved to Chapel Hill nearly 4 years ago. I’ve been a car enthusiast as long as I can remember. I was fortunate to have grown up with a friend who’s father used to build hot rods. I learned a great deal about modifying cars through his family’s various garage projects, and I’ve been obsessed with DIY car performance modifications ever since. From building and assembling engine blocks to replacing clutches in driveways on jack stands, there isn’t much I haven’t done. My B6 A4 is my first Audi. I’ve owned it since 2005. That said, there are very few original parts on the car. It has a fully built stroker engine with aggressive cams, transmission, suspension, and a lot of retro-fitted S4 and RS4 exterior and interior parts. My B8.5 S4 is also modified with various bolt-on performance parts, including supercharger and crank pulleys, and tuning that increases power and torque considerably. Both of these cars have 6 speed manual transmissions and run on ethanol fuel. The Q5 remains unmodified, however.

In addition to turning wrenches, I enjoy spirited driving events and mountain runs. I’m hoping to get more involved with HPDE and track day events through my Audi Club membership. Other hobbies include photography, beer and wine making, vintage audio repair, writing/playing/recording music, and perfecting the arts of Texas and Eastern NC BBQ.

Hope to meet more fellow Audi Club chapter members at upcoming events!
