Audi Treffen 2021 hosted by Audi Club Carolinas, will take place October 1-3 2021 at Etowah Valley Golf and Resort, Etowah, NC. Come join us as we once again explore beautiful Western Carolina mountain roads. This driving event is for paid and active members of Audi Club North America Only (Non Member will receive a 1 year membership after your credit cards are charged). This year’s event is limited to 55 cars (there will be a waitlist), so make your reservations as soon as possible to assure your spot. Call Etowah Valley Golf and Resort for your reservations @828-891-7022 and use the Audi Club code (Audi) for your discounted rate. Lodging prices are $139.99 per weekday and $164.99 per weekend (South building) and $124.99 per weekday and $149.99 per weekend. (North building) The hotel rate includes a hot breakfast.   For more than two adults in each room, there will be $10 charge per adult. No cancellation penalty if the room is cancelled within one week of check in. One night penalty if guest cancels within one week of check-in, exemptions will be made for COVID 19.

Activities begin Thursday afternoon, September 30, (if enough members are interested) with a golf tournament (reduced rate and free cart for registered guests). Registration begins Friday morning October 1 at 9 am at Chelsea’s.  A special optional Pre-Tour drives will start after lunch at 1 pm Friday afternoon and be complete by 5 pm (for those needing lunch, the hotel will have a “speed” lunch at Zeke’s). Activities will kick off Friday evening with Protech Motorsports hosting the Audi Treffen Willkommen at 6 pm followed by a hosted dinner (Audifest) 7 pm. Saturday is an all-day event with drives starting at 8:45 am and complete around 5 pm.  Drives will be assigned before the event and you will receive your drive information before the event.  Drives will include many of our favorite roads in the area including Copperhead Loop (NC 215 and US276), The Rattler (NC209) and Pikin the Head Loop (SC 178 and US276) plus visits to DuPont Forest, Lake Toxaway, Cashiers and Wolf Mountain (Drives will include all or part of the drives listed above and some may not include any).  Saturday evening join your Audi friends at our hosted Audi Treffen banquet with a special speaker from our Prestige Sponsor Michelin North America.  Sunday morning we will continue on our way to La Strada at Lake Lure for our traditional farewell hosted lunch.

Cost to register is $95 per person, Children 6-12 $60, 6 and under – free and non-members $155 (includes one year membership). Registration includes Friday evening dinner, Saturday evening banquet and Sunday lunch at La Strada at Lake Lure.  Including swag bags, event shirts  (baseball style tee shirt, for half size, please size up), sponsor giveaways. Plus, we will have our wonderful silent auction items to bid on, and a chance to outbid your friends. For this event Audi Club of North America Carolinas Chapter will be using a deferred payment plan. Your credit card WILL NOT BE CHARGED until Sept 3, 2021. After Sept 3, 2021 cancellation charges are 100% of the fee except in case of a force majeure. A force majeure, including but not limited to acts of God, civil disorder, governmental regulation or advisory for recognized health threats as determined by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control, or local government authority or health agencies  and occurrences beyond the control of the Audi Club North America Carolinas Chapter. If the governmental regulation or advisory reduces the number of the event attendees allowed, the event attendees will be based on earliest sign up dates until the maximum number allowed is reached and no credit card will be charged for any anyone registered for the event who is excluded due to governmental regulation or advisories.

Our charity this year is Hendersonville Council on Aging – Meals on Wheels.

We must make sure this is a safe event that conforms to all the current Covid-19 safety protocols, Audi Club protocols and if you do not chose to follow these rules, you will not be allowed to attend or participate this event. Due to COVID-19, Waivers for an event must be signed electronically prior to the event. If a member signed up a guest using his or her e-mail address for the guest, please make sure that the guest signs the waivers. Both of these waivers (Event and COVID) must be e-signed before participating in this event. In all cases, you must complete the process on your own mobile device and are issued a photo credential.

We will be practicing COVID19 CDC guidelines during this event.  Please bring your own masks and wear them accordingly if required by current regulations by World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control, or local government authority or health agencies.  When we are gathered for instructions and pictures we will practice social distancing if required by current regulations by World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control, or local government authority or health agencies.

Radios– Be sure to bring your GMRS radio (with ‘privacy channels’ or ‘sub channels’) we use channel 17. Make sure that your radio is charged and you know how to set the channels and privacy channels. If you have a problem, let one of us know so we can help set your radio before we start our drive.
