The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is an anomaly. The one and only time you get a full run is on race day. During practice sessions, little chunks of the route are cut off to safely split the course into sectors. And on race day, it’s one and done. In 2019, the first motorcycle to compete made it up the mountain around 8 in the morning and stayed until late in the afternoon. Hopefully the rider brought money for a couple donuts…
