Audi of America appoints Tara Rush as Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer

HERNDON – Beginning April 1, 2019, Audi of America appointed Tara Rush as Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer to lead U.S. public relations. Rush will report to Audi of America President, Mark Del Rosso.

In her role, Rush will be responsible for defining and leading the implementation of brand-driven internal and external communications across a range of categories including corporate, product and lifestyle. The roll oversees communications to a broad range of stakeholders, including employees, industry and lifestyle media, consumers, influencers, dealers, and industry associations.

“Tara’s passion for Audi as well as her breadth and depth of experience with campaigns that move the needle will be an asset for us in the U.S. I’m proud to welcome her to the Audi family,” said Mark Del Rosso, president, Audi of America.

Rush joins Audi of America from HEINEKEN USA, where she most recently held the role of Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. She was a member of HEINEKEN USA’s executive management team and served as the Corporate Affairs lead where she successfully oversaw all U.S. corporate communications.

Prior to HEINEKEN USA, Rush held roles as SVP, Director of Consumer Marketing & Social Relevance with Emanate/Ketchum. There she led marketing communications campaigns for companies including but not limited to Hilton, Heinz, KFC, Mattel, Bank of America, Verizon, Nissan, and Maclaren.
