Audi Club Election Results Announced

Final results for Audi Club North America (ACNA) Board of Directors election have been tabulated. The top-three vote recipients are Dan Garber, Roger Labas and Tom Mullane. The newly elected directors will serve a three-year term from January 2020 to December 2022.

Each year, three of the nine Audi Club Board of Directors positions are open for election. In the 2019 election, five candidates contended for the open seats. Tom Mullane is from Northeast (NEQ) chapter, Dan Garber represents Northwest chapter and Roger Labas is a Carolinas chapter member. Mullane and Garber will be new to the 2020 national board. Labas will be serving his second term and is currently Vice-President of the national board. The full nine-member board will meet in early 2020 to select their executive officers for a one-year term.

The two other candidates who ran for election were Jerry Gunn representing Western Canada chapter and Jake Lauck from Kansas City chapter.  ACNA Executive Director, Paul Truess, “We want to thank Jerry and Jake for stepping up as candidates to serve the Audi Club membership.” Truess went on to congratulate the new board members, Tom and Dan, also to welcome Roger back.

This marks the second competitive board election in as many years with five impressive candidates representing nearly every geographic area of the Club.  It is truly a measure of the growth and strength of Audi Club.
