Superb weather, Audis, wine, great enthusiasts, new faces, raffles, and an amazing lunch, made for a fantastic event! This Triad area event, summoned 18 cars and even one Ferrari. We saw some new enthusiasts make it out and everyone had a great time. Childress Vineyards was the perfect backdrop for this second annual event. Magnificent grounds, wine tastings, winery tour, and their Bistro restaurant, are all top notch.
I would like to thank Childress Vineyards for hosting our club, and being very accommodating to our needs, especially fitting 25 or so of us, in the Bistro restaurant! We had great Audi diversity: R8, RS 5s, A5s, A4 Avant, S4 Avants, S4 sedans, A8, A4s, S5, SQ5, Q8 and RS 5 Sportback.
Also a big shout-out to Audi Winston-Salem, for bringing out the R 5 Sportback and Q8 for the enthusiasts to check out! Everyone got plenty of pictures of the fabulous Audis on hand, and a few lucky people scored some free Audi and Liqui Moly swag from our raffles. All the enthusiasts shared great feedback about the event, and are already looking forward to next year.
