Let’s kick-off the New Year with a flash message, this car’s listing couldn’t wait until Thursday! Audi enthusiasts: are you looking to begin or add to your collection? Here’s a special car that may be the best example of its kind for sale today: an R8 GT Spyder. A quick search for comparable cars found eight listings in the US, three spyders and five coupes. The Spyder below, #257, has the lowest mileage of any GT, spyder or coupe, for sale over the past six years (according to data on Classic.com).

This low mileage spyder is #257 of 333 worldwide and only 50 for the US Market. That’s Suzuka Gray matte with a black soft top over a black interior with white instrument dials and plenty of matte carbon fiber inside and out. The 5.2L V10 is factory rated at 560HP/398 lb-ft and it’s mated to a 6-speed R Tronic. The track-focused GT model is lighter than the standard R8, specifically 187 lbs for the Spyder variant, thru extensive use of carbon fiber and aluminum. This one even has WeatherTech floor mats, let’s hope the R8 GT-specific floor mats are in the frunk under the car cover. The MSRP was in the neighborhood of $210,000+ and bidding this evening (January 2nd) is at $101,000. That bid was placed December 30th.
