Happy Holidays fellow Audi enthusiasts! Do you find yourself searching through the internet’s multiple car auction sites looking for a specific model? While it can be fun, it does consume valuable time you could spend returning those Christmas gifts that, were well-intended, just aren’t you. So let us do some of the work for you. Auction Watch monitors online auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
The R8s just keep on coming up for auction and in this week’s listings there are three that really demand attention. In the spirit of Santa’s wardrobe, how about a 2023 Tango Red R8 GT with less than 100 miles on it? Or maybe a 2018 Ara Blue R8 Spyder with an Audi Exclusive Sand Beige/Night Blue interior? And here’s one with an advance warning so you can prep for a trip to Kissimmee, Florida: a 2010 R8 V10 Coupe in Brilliant Red, 6-speed manual, an Audi Exclusive interior, and only 3,000 miles. It is Mecum Auction Lot K135 and will cross the block sometime on Saturday January 6th. There is one more R8 coming up at Mecum I’ll preview next week. Bids quickly, auction ends early this PM! The listing headline says, “Some modifications”, that’s an understatement. The Nano Gray metallic compact has APR Stage 2 ECU and TCU tunes, coil packs/wires, and carbon fiber cold air intake. Those are just the mod highlights, please read the listing for all performance and cosmetic mod details. The black interior has a Tech value package and the optional S sport seat package. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2020 Audi A4 Allroad (49,000 Miles)

Bids quickly, auction ends mid-ish this PM! This gray shade is Manhattan Gray metallic and it covers this Prestige trim long roof well. The roomy black interior has leather seats with Rock gray stitching, Warm and Cold Weather packages, and gray Oak natural wood inlays. The drivetrain is a 2.0L turbocharged I4 (252HP/273 lb-ft), a 7-speed S tronic and quattro with Ultra. Carfax reports functional damage to the rear in May 2021, the seller reports backing into another vehicle and replacing the rear bumper as a result.
2018 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (8,000 Miles)

Bids quickly, auction ends late this PM! The Ara Blue Crystal Effect paint really pops against the Audi Exclusive Sand Beige and Night Blue Diamond Stitch full Nappa leather interior that also has a Carbon Interior package. There’s a Carbon Exterior package as well plus 20” Wheels over red calipers. The 5.2L V10, Audi rated at 532HP/398 lb-ft, mates to a 7-speed S tronic. The Carfax report is clean.
2023 Audi R8 GT (<100 Miles)

Santa is selling his brand new sleigh! The sendoff model, like the 2012 R8 GT it’s 1 of 333 worldwide/1 of 150 for the US market and this one is #272. Tango Red metallic and carbon fiber on the outside, black with lots of red stitching, carbon fiber, and Alcantara inside. All 602HP/413 lb-ft coming from the 5.2L V10 goes through a 7-speed S tronic to the rear wheels only. If you’re seriously considering bidding, please check what your insurance bill would be. This beauty would cost me $2,000/year and I’m an old guy. But then again, if you can afford the payments you can probably afford the insurance…so go for it!
2001 Audi TT Roadster (96,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Drop the black top on this Brilliant Black roadster to fully appreciate the Amber Red leather sport seats with the Baseball Optic stitching, but they need some TLC. This Mark I is unmodified and powered by a 1.8L I4 Audi rated at 225HP/207 lb-ft when new. It connects to a 6-speed manual and Haldex drive to spin all four wheels. It’s showing its age/mileage in a few places to include the common bad pixels on the center screen, but the Carfax report is clean.
2022 Audi RS 6 Avant (<1,000 Miles)

The seller says in the comments the Audi Exclusive color is Nardo Grey Matte, it has a Carbon Optic package, and it’s covered with XPEL Stealth (matte) ppf. Inside the Audi Exclusive Jet Gray/Ocean Blue interior are the Executive and Driver assistance packages and B&O Advanced 3D sound options. The drivetrain is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 (591HP/590 lb-ft) connected to an 8-speed Tiptronic and sport diff. The Carfax report is much cleaner than the car.
2014 Audi A5 Cabriolet (41,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This Brilliant Red drop top is a bit unusual as its 2.0L I4 (220HP/258 lb-ft) is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) automatic that drives only the front wheels. Under the black soft top is a Titanium Gray interior with Prestige trim-level niceties like Audi Advanced Key and B&O sound. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2019 Audi e-tron (39,000 Miles)

The dual electric motor setup is powered by a 95 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery yielding 355HP/414 lb-ft, or 402HP/490 lb-ft with the boost function. The exterior is Glacier White metallic, the interior is Pearl Beige with Prestige trim, Cold Weather and Towing packages, and B&O sound. Carfax reports new tires were mounted in August 2023 and no accidents or damage.
