Happy Holidays fellow Audi enthusiasts! Do you find yourself searching through the internet’s multiple car auction sites looking for a specific model? While it can be fun, it does consume valuable time you could spend Christmas shopping. So let us do some of the work for you. Auction Watch monitors online auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
It’s Deja vu all over again…there are two low mileage (for the model years) R8s in this week’s Auction Watch listings and one of them is a 1 of 60 Competition Coupe. But wait, the R8s get cooler: how about Alex Van Halen’s old 2010 R8 V10 that’s equipped with a STaSIS Engineering Challenge Extreme Edition package? I’ll bet it rocks! And just when you thought all the garage finds were gone, out comes a 6,000-mile 2001 A6. All these cars are available just in time for Christmas. 2022 Audi e-tron GT (21,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early this PM! While looking white, this Prestige trim car is finished in Suzuka Gray metallic over a black interior with a full Fine Nappa leather package, heated, ventilated, and massaging front sport seats, matte Carbon Atlas inlays, head-up display, and B&O sound. The dual-synchronous motor system is Audi rated at 496HP/464 lb-ft and powered by a 93-kWh battery. It’s optioned with a Performance package as well. The Carfax report is clean.
2010 Audi Q5 (140,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends mid this PM! No Reserve. The drivetrain in this early Audi SUV is a 3.2L V6 (270HP/243 lb-ft) mated to a 6-speed Tiptronic. It’s painted Brilliant Black over a black interior with Cinnamon Brown leather seats, dark brown walnut wood trim, and Audi MMI infotainment with navigation. Carfax reports no accidents or other damage.
2008 Audi R8 Coupe (17,000 Miles)

The first year for the R8 in North America it was equipped with a 4.2L V8 that Audi rated at 420HP/317 ft-lb and that power spins a 6-speed gated manual. This example is finished in Phantom Black pearl and has a Maxton Design USA front spoiler, carbon fiber Sigma side blades, and an aftermarket carbon fiber rear wing. The black interior appears to have a full leather package, Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, B&O sound, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Audi navigation. The Carfax report is clean.
2008 Audi S8 (58,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This one is listed as black, I’m guessing Brilliant, over a black/Amaretto interior with Amaretto Valcona leather seats, seat belts, arm rests, door panels, and headliner. Under the hood is the wonderful sounding 5.2L V10 rated at 450HP/398 lb-ft in this car and mated to a 6-speed Tiptronic. Please read the listing for all the service done prior to this sale. Damage to the front of the car in February 2012 is reported by Carfax.
2015 Audi R8 Competition Coupe (10,000 Miles)

1 of 60 examples of an uprated 5.2L V10, Audi rated at 570HP/398 lb-ft in this model. The transmission is a 7-speed S tronic. It’s finished in ceramic-coated Florett Silver Metallic over a black interior featuring Diamond Stitch Full Leather Package and B&O sound. Matte carbon fiber trim can be found inside and out. The only mods are cosmetic: front badge delete and tinted windows. The Carfax report is clean but the 2015 date-coded tires need to go if you plan to drive this coupe like it was meant to be driven.
2013 Audi A3 TDI (19,000 Miles)

This must have been somebody’s baby; it’s a one-owner, looks super clean in the pictures, and has low mileage. The exterior is Brilliant Black over a black/Luxor Beige leather interior with walnut trim and Audi Concert sound system with Bluetooth connectivity. It’s powered by a torquey 2.0L turbodiesel I4 (140HP/236 lb-ft) that spins a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The TDI emissions (Dieselgate) and Snow Flap and Oxygen Sensor recalls haven’t been done, but the Carfax is clean.
2001 Audi A6 (6,000 Miles)

This time capsule is Brilliant Black over a black interior with Onyx leather seats, wood trim, a trunk-mounted but inoperative CD changer, Bose sound, and a central display with pixel damage. The 4.2L 40-valve V8 is factory rated at 300HP/295 lb-ft and connects to a 5-speed Tiptronic. Prolonged sitting may have necessitated replacing the transaxle flange shaft and output shaft seal in December 2018. An April 2021 Carfax entry states damage was reported but no additional information, and also that the car had routine service.
2003 Audi A6 (65,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Another classic A6, this time in Light Silver metallic and equipped with a 3.0L V6 (220HP/221 lb-ft) that spins another 5-speed Tiptronic. The Platinum interior has leather seats, woodgrain trim, an Audi Symphony CD/cassette stereo, a broken cup holder, and parts of the headliner are sagging. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2010 Audi R8 V10 Coupe (60,000 Miles)

You’ll be running with the devil if you win the bid on this coupe formerly owned by drummer Alex Van Halen. Under the matte green vinyl wrap it’s Ice Silver metallic, it has carbon fiber Sigma side blades and they’re over a black cabin with an enhanced leather package. The car is modified with STaSIS Engineering Challenge Extreme Edition equipment highlighted by a Magnussen/Eaton TVS2300 supercharger. Please look for the STaSIS brochure in the pictures for all the details. The greatly enhanced power flows into a 6-speed manual. The Carfax report is clean but the seller notes some parking damage fixes.
2021 Audi RS 6 Avant (12,000 Miles)

The exterior of this long roof is Navarra Blue metallic with a Black Optic package. The black interior has Valcona leather seats with red honeycomb-patterned stitching, Executive package, carbon twill inlays, B&O 3D sound, and Audi MMI Navigation with a 10.1″ touchscreen. The power is supplied by a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 (591HP/590 lb-ft) that exhales through an optional Sport exhaust and spins an 8-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2003 Audi RS 6 (23,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This fast sedan is powered by a twin-turbo, 5-valve per cylinder 4.2L V8 that had its timing belt, water pump, fuel pump, fuel filter, and battery replaced in November 2023. Audi rates the engine at 450HP/415 lb-ft and this one’s mated to a 5-speed Tiptronic. The body is painted Avus Silver pearl and the black interior has silver-piped Ebony leather seats, carbon fiber trim, a CD/cassette stereo, and Bose sound. The selling dealer notes corrosion on the left rear quarter panel and a dent in the right rear quarter panel. The Carfax report is clean but does have a June 2008 entry for an open safety recall on the fuel tank rollover valve nipple.
2012 Audi A7 (123,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This generation sportback is powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6, factory rated at 310HP/325 lb-ft, and it connects to an 8-speed Tiptronic. The dark exterior color, Moonlight Blue metallic, is contrasted by a Velvet Beige interior with heated/ventilated leather front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, Audi MMI Touch infotainment system, and Bose sound. Cosmetic mods are black wheels, green front calipers, tinted windows, and black rings. The Carfax report is clean.
2012 Audi R8 V10 Coupe (35,000 Miles)

This coupe is finished in Daytona Gray pearl with mismatched side blades (see the Lemon Squad inspection report) and green accents. The black cabin has leather sport seats, Piano Black trim, and B&O sound. The 5.2L V10 is Audi rated at 525HP/391 lb-ft and mates to a 6-speed R tronic. It rolls 20” R8 Spyder wheels. Carfax reports disabling damage to its left front after an accident with another vehicle in June 2013.
2002 Audi A4 Avant (52,000 Miles)

No Reserve. It may look silver but that color is Crystal Blue metallic. The bright interior is Light Platinum with leather seats, brushed aluminum trim, and an Audi Symphony CD stereo. The turbocharged 1.8L I4 with five valves per cylinder is Audi rated at 170HP/166 lb-ft and it spins a 5-speed manual. Carfax reports no accidents or damage and a good service history, but it could use a good detailing under the hood.
