Greetings fellow Audi enthusiasts! Do you find yourself searching through the internet’s multiple car auction sites looking for a specific model? While it can be fun, it does consume valuable time. So let us do some of the work for you. Auction Watch monitors online auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
Auction listing action picked up a bit now that we’re over the Thanksgiving lull. Perhaps there will be a pre-Christmas burst of activity to look forward to. This week’s themes are low mileage, ‘90s classics—a modified 1995.5 S6 Avant highlights that group—and colorful cars. Specifically, Brilliant Yellow and Samoa Orange. 2021 Audi S5 Sportback (24,000 Miles)

Quantum Gray covers this practical sporty car with a Black Optic package and XPEL paint protection film on the front bumper, hood, fenders, and door mirror caps. There’s also a carbon fiber rear spoiler. Through the tinted windows you’ll see the Prestige level trim that adds lots of goodies to the black interior with Nappa leather seats and Carbon Atlas inlays. What you can’t see are the S Sport package and Sport exhaust resonator, or the APR Stage 1 tune that enhances the 3.0L turbocharged V6. An 8-speed Tiptronic and sport diff complete the drivetrain. There’s a clean Carfax report and a Lemon Squad inspection points out a cracked windshield will need replacing.
2004 Audi A8 L (23,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This shade of gray is Atlas Gray metallic and it’s over gray leather seats with contrasting stripes, burl woodgrain trim, and a Bose surround sound. Its 4.2L V8 (330HP/317 lb-ft when new) spins a 6-speed automatic. Carfax reports an accident in August 2006 but no further details; the seller notes blemishes on various panels. From the Carfax’s few service reports I’d guess all but one tire are original.
1995.5 Audi S6 Avant (64,000 Miles)

This veteran long roof is said to be one of 15 US market examples finished in Magnolia pearl for the model year. The interior has Anthracite leather seats, an Audi Delta cassette stereo with rear CD changer, and a loose headliner above the left B-pillar. Under the hood lies a BorgWarner EFR 7064 turbocharged 2.2L I5 equipped with a 034Motorsport head gasket, ARP head bolts, 7A camshafts, Inconel exhaust valves, Bosch 550cc EV14 injectors, and a Bosch 044 fuel pump. The tranny is a 5-speed manual with a Southbend clutch, the clutch hydraulic cylinders were replaced in October 2023. Please read the listing for more details. The Carfax report is clean.
2000 Audi A4 (140,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Per the Audi Customer Experience Center, this is the only Brilliant Yellow over Ecru sold in the US market for the model year. Those Ecru cloth seats are in a gray interior with wood trim, a Pioneer touchscreen stereo with Bose sound, and a handful of flaws like damaged pixels in the central display. Please read the listing for details. The N/A 30-valve 2.8L V6, Audi rated at 190HP/207 lb-ft, had its valve cover gaskets replaced 1k miles ago and connects to a 5-speed manual. Carfax reports no accidents or other damage.
2002 Audi S6 Avant (83,000 Miles)

No Reserve. You could be the sixth owner of this long roof that is finished in Light Silver metallic over an Ebony interior with leather seats, burl wood trim, an Alcantara headliner, and an Audi Symphony AM/FM/CD stereo paired with Bose sound. The 4.2L V8, factory rated at 340HP/310 lb-ft, mates to a 5-speed Tiptronic. It now rides on coilovers and the seller notes noise emanating from the front suspension. The Carfax is clean but the car is showing its age with wear/chips/scratches inside and out.
1997 Audi Cabriolet B3 (68,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Another Brilliant Yellow flash from the past. This one’s had a lot of recent work done to it but still needs more to resolve engine oil leaks, fix a sagging headliner, new tires, etc. Please read the listing carefully to determine if you want to bid. The engine is an N/A 2.8L V6, the transmission a 4-speed automatic and the drive is only to the front wheels. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2015 Audi TTS Coupe (43,000 Miles)

A Canadian-spec Samoa Orange metallic pocket rocket imported to the States in 2019 for you here. It has Black Optics, Silk Nappa Leather seats with orange inserts and stitching, 19” Volk Racing/RAYS Engineering VR.G2 wheels, an HPA Performance big brake kit, an aftermarket catalytic converter, and a few more mods as well. Please see them all in the listing. The drivetrain is 2.0L turbocharged I4 (265HP/258 lb-ft) mated to a 6-speed S tronic and Haldex drive. The Carfax report is clean.
1998 Audi A4 2.8 (61,000 Miles)

Yet another ‘90s car, this time a Brilliant Black sedan over a black interior with Ecru leather seats and door trim, wood trim, and a Bose sound system. Power comes from a 2.8L V6 that now wears a PES G2 supercharger connected to a 5-speed manual. Numerous other mods are detailed in the listing. The Carfax report has gaps, but no accidents or mileage discrepancies and just one owner in California.
2015 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (12,000 Miles)

It’s another low mileage Spyder, this example’s finished in Panther Black Crystal Effect with a black soft top over a black interior featuring a full leather package whose seats have diamond-stitched inserts, Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, and B&O sound. The 5.2L V10 is Audi rated at 525HP/391 lb-ft and spins a 7-speed S tronic and exhales through an optional sport exhaust. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2015 Audi R8 V10 Competition Coupe (4,500 Miles)

Prefer an R8 coupe? This one’s wearing Daytona Gray pearl over its full leather interior complete with diamond-stitched leather/Alcantara headliner. The cabin also has matte carbon fiber illuminated door sills and trim as well as a rearview camera, B&O sound, and an infotainment system with Audi navigation. In Competition spec, and nestled in a bed of matte carbon fiber, the 5.2L V10 makes 570HP/398 lb-ft per Audi’s measurements. A 7-speed S tronic, a limited-slip rear diff, and quattro complete the drivetrain. The Carfax report is clean.
2012 Audi S4 (85,000 Miles)

No Reserve. The supercharged 3.0L V6 is factory rated at 333HP/325 lb-ft and passes that power through a 6-speed manual and Sport diff to the quattro drive. The exterior is Monsoon Gray metallic and the black interior has Nappa leather seats, aluminum trim, and B&O sound. ECS Tuning engine and transaxle skid plates are fitted under the chassis. A JXB Performance extended clutch slave cylinder is said to be installed, the seller notes the clutch may need to be replaced soon. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but the photos show reasons to buy XPEL paint protection film.
