Greetings fellow Audi enthusiasts! Do you find yourself searching through the internet’s multiple car auction sites looking for a specific model? While it can be fun, it does consume valuable time. So let us do some of the work for you. Auction Watch monitors online auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
This is a “special” week on Auction Watch and I mean that in the literal sense. Listings include a Coupe GT Special Build and a TT Roadster Special Edition. Adding to the special feel of the week are a 1994 RS 2 Avant and a 2012 R8 GT with a 6-speed manual swap in a perfect color for late October. There’s also a 1983 quattro with a twin-turbo 2.7L V6 engine swap—think track car. And I’d like to hear Mr. Spock give us the odds on having an RS Straight: RS 2 – RS 3 – RS 4 – RS 5 – RS 6; in, avant, cabriolet, coupe, and sedan body styles. 2015 Audi A8 L TDI (101,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, this auction ends mid PM today! No Reserve. Déjà vu: the flagship previously sold on BaT in late September ’23 for $30,222 but the bidder failed to complete the deal. A 3.0L turbodiesel V6 rated 240HP/428 lb-ft when new (with water pump and oil cooler replaced in March 2023) drives an 8-speed Tiptronic in this Glacier White limo. The cabin is upholstered in full Balao Brown Valcona leather that covers the upper dashboard and door panels with Balsamic Brown Ash wood and Brushed Aluminum trim, B&O Advanced Sound, an Alcantara headliner, and dual-pane acoustic side windows. A clean Carfax report too.
1987 Audi Coupe GT Special Build (260,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, this auction ends mid PM today! No Reserve. The color is Alpine White veteran, the Special Build label means it’s equipped with a color-coordinated raised rear spoiler, mirror housings, B-pillar trim, and 14″ alloy wheels. The engine is a 2.3L NG I5, also unique in US-market Special Build Coupe GTs, and it produced 130HP when new. It spins an optional 3-speed automatic transaxle. Inside the black cabin you’ll find seats in graphite velour, a unique digital dashboard with orange illumination, cruise control, cassette player that doesn’t work, and the A/C that has a noisy compressor. Please read the listing and its comments carefully, there are more flaws.
2015 Audi RS 5 Coupe (96,000 Miles)

No Reserve. The much-loved N/A 4.2L V8, Audi rated at 450HP/317 lb-ft, powers this coupe through a 7-speed S tronic and standard sport diff. Outside it’s Mythos Black metallic with black optics and paint protection film on the front bumper, fenders, and hood. Inside it’s also black with Nappa leather seats, carbon fiber trim, and Audi MMI Navigation Plus. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear in May 2018. There’s also a Lemon Squad inspection report.
2015 Audi S6 (75,000 Miles)

This Prestige trim-level car is finished in Sepang Blue pearlescent (with Black Optic package and paint protection film on side skirts) over a black/Moon Silver interior featuring Cold Weather package, Valcona leather seats, and navigation with MMI Touch. The seller states that a paint correction was done and a ceramic coating applied in the summer of 2022. Under the hood is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, factory rated at 420HP/406 lb-ft. that mates to a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2013 Audi S4 (87,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This shiny color on the Prestige trim-level sedan is Estoril Blue crystal effect (with paint protection film on forward-facing surfaces) and it’s over a black interior with Fine Nappa leather seats, stainless steel mesh inlays, B&O sound, and Audi MMI Navigation Plus infotainment. The supercharged 3.0L V6 (333HP/325 lb-ft) mates to a 6-speed manual and sport diff but doesn’t have much documented service history in the Carfax report that does list very minor damage to the roof in August 2017; the seller reports that a portion of the roof was refinished during previous ownership.
2003 Audi RS 6 (68,000 Miles)

This fast sedan previously sold on BaT for $25,000 in September 2022. Its twin-turbo 4.2L V8, Audi rated at 450HP/415 lb-ft, exhales through an optional Sound Enhancing exhaust and connects to a 5-speed Tiptronic that was rebuilt in 2021. Please read the listing for additional work done since 2019. The Daytona Gray pearl wears paint protection film on the leading edge of the roof, A-pillars, hood, front fenders, headlights, and front fascia. The black cabin has leather seats. Burl wood trim, and an Audi Symphony cassette/CD stereo linked to a Bose sound system. The Carfax report is clean.
2008 Audi RS 4 Cabriolet (70,000 Miles)

The Cabriolet version of the RS 4 is a coupe and this Daytona Gray pearl example comes with a red soft top that covers a black cabin with Silver Nappa leather Recaro front seats, carbon fiber trim, CD stereo, and Bose sound. The car still has its Dynamic Ride Control suspension but has had some good service done since April 2022, please check out the listing for details. The OEM drivetrain is a 4.2L V8 and a 6-speed manual. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but the listing mentions a few paint flaws, etc.

Racing wheels mounted with 235/35 Continental VikingContact 7 tires will accompany the car along with a clean Carfax.
2012 Audi R8 GT Coupe (6,000 Miles)

This extra-special Samoa Orange metallic coupe is listing just in time for Halloween. It is #104 of 333 worldwide/50 for the North America and it’s a Canadian-spec car imported into the States in January 2023. What makes this extra special is that the 5.2L V10 (560HP/398 lb-ft) now mates to a gated 6-speed manual instead of the less than smooth R tronic. The black cabin features leather seats with Signal Orange stitching along with matching door panel inserts, carbon Sigma trim, an Alcantara headliner, and B&O sound. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2009 Audi R8 V8 Coupe (101,000 Miles)

To contrast the Samoa Orange above, here’s a Phantom Black pearl coupe with carbon fiber Sigma side blades. It sold on BaT in June 2022 for $63,100. The black interior has leather seats and door panels, more carbon Sigma trim, B&O sound, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Audi navigation. The 4.2L V8 is also surrounded by carbon fiber, is factory rated at 420HP/317 lb-ft, and also connects to gated 6-speed manual. Please read the listing for recent service done.
1995 Audi RS 2 Avant (188,000 Kilometers)

The very dark blue exterior color is Indigo Pearl which looks black in some pictures. Please read the listing for this car’s history and import details. It’s powered by a turbocharged 2.2L ADU I5 (four valves per cylinder) and produced 311HP/302 lb-ft when new. That power flows to a 6-speed manual and quattro drive. The refreshed interior has front Recaro sport seats in Anthracite leather with silver Alcantara inserts, carbon fiber trim, and an Alpine CD stereo is linked to Pioneer speakers in the rear doors.
2006 Audi TT Roadster Special Edition (22,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This roadster was in the second Auction Watch back in February 2022 when it sold on BaT for $34,000. The color is Quartz Gray metallic, it has a black soft top, and a black interior featuring Amber Red leather seats with Baseball Optic stitching, Special Edition glovebox badging, and Audi Concert CD stereo. Under the hood is a 3.2L V6 (250HP/236 lb-ft) that’s paired with a 6-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transaxle. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2021 Audi RS 6 Avant (13,000 Miles)

The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, Audi rated at 591HP/590 lb-ft, plus a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and optional sport exhaust will give you plenty of power to haul whatever you need to in this long roof. That’s a lot of Nardo Gray (with paint protection film on the front of the car) and a Carbon Optic package on the exterior. The black interior has Night Vision Assistant, Driver Assistance and Executive packages, Valcona leather seats with red honeycomb-patterned stitching, and carbon twill inlays. The Carfax report is clean.
2019 Audi TTS (6,400 Miles)

Has the latest issue of quattro got you itching to buy a TT? Here’s your chance, a Glacier White metallic with a Competition Package and paint protection film outside, a black driver-focused cockpit with Express Red S Sport seats and Technology package inside. The 2.0L turbocharged I4, factory rated at 288HP/280 lb-ft, mates to a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
1983 Audi quattro (Total Miles Unknown)

There’s not much “Ur” left in the quattro, it almost a custom now, certainly a track car. A twin-turbo 2.7L V6 with RS 4-spec turbos, intake, and injectors now lives under the hood. That’s the headline, you really need to read the listing to grasp all the other mods. Highly-bolstered Corbeau LG1 seats and Schroth four-point harnesses hold the front occupants firmly in place. The black exterior shows is usage with chips and scratches but the Carfax…who am I kidding, who cares about the Carfax with this level of modification.
2008 Audi A6 Avant (79,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This long roof is finished in Silver metallic over a Light Gray interior with Premium and Technology packages, a power sunroof, leather seats, wood trim, and a Bose surround sound system. The drivetrain is a 3.2L V6 rated 255HP/243 lb-ft when new and a 6-speed automatic. Carfax reports minor damage to the right front in August 2011.
