Audi enthusiasts: do you spend countless hours searching on-line for your favorite car or cars? If so, we’re here to help! To save you time, in this Auction Watch series we’re monitoring numerous auction sites for Ingolstadt’s finest up for auction. Interesting finds will be posted weekly, and hopefully, you’ll be alerted in time to bid on your dream car.
If you’re thinking about using an online auction site to sell a car, I offer a couple tips based on looking at hundreds of listings over the past eight months. First, take a lot of good pictures. But you’re not doing a magazine shoot trying to make your car look cool, you’re trying to show people the car’s condition. Take the pictures in good light and point out the flaws just as you should the highlights. Second, thoroughly clean your car. It’s not very impressive to have a spotless exterior and a dirty engine bay with leaves up by the hood hinges. Now I’ll get off my soapbox so you can get on to this week’s listings.
