Hello again Audi aficionados! Thank you for clicking on another edition of Auction Watch where we’ve done the internet searching for you. We’ve checked multiple car auction sites looking for Audi models worthy of your bids. Each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi that you’re looking for in time for you to bid on it.
Auction Watch will be taking a break for a week while my Navigator and I recon some fun roads next week. So be sure to check out this week’s listings for what you may bid on, like this week’s elder statesmen, a 1982 Ur quattro that needs some TLC to bring it back to greatness and a one-of-none 1993 90 CS RS Design Study car. It’s the car discussed in the letter pictured above. Two listings are back at auction again and after about 2.5 years, both from model year 2002 they are a S6 Avant and a TT Roadster 225. If you’re in the market for something unstock, there is a variety this week with a 2010 R8 Coupe, a 2007 RS 4, a Mark II TT RS, a 2014 SQ5, and two S4s on offer. Bid quickly, auction ends early this PM!!! A triple black drophead coupe. The exterior is Phantom Black pearl with a black soft top; the interior has diamond-stitched Fine Nappa leather seats, carbon sigma inlays, an infotainment system with navigation and rearview camera, and B&O sound. The 5.2L V10, Audi rated at 525HP/391 lb-ft spins a 6-speed manual that has a replacement clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder done in April 2024. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2002 Audi S6 Avant (146,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends mid-PM today!!! No Reserve. The listing headline ends with, “…extensive performance modifications.” That’s why you really need to read the listing and look through all the pictures, not only for the mods, but for the Carfax report of a total loss in August 2014 although the current title is not branded. The car previously sold on c&b in April 2022 (near the COVID market peak) for $27,500. The colors are Atlas Gray over a silver/black interior and the engine is still a 4.2L V8 but the transmission is now a 6-speed manual. One listing comment says, “The previous owner documents the history of this S6 in the build thread on Audizine forum…”
2023 Audi S5 Sportback (15,000 Miles)

This practical sporty car is painted Glacier White metallic with black badges and rings and, according to the listing, it has an optional carbon fiber rear spoiler. The black cabin has Nappa leather seats with Alcantara diamond-stitched seat inserts, and optional carbon fiber trim. Power from a turbocharged 3.0L V6 (349HP/369 lb-ft) flows to an 8-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2014 Audi SQ5 (121,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This SUV is a sleeper. Why? The supercharged 3.0L V6 is modified with an APR Stage 2 ECU tune, an APR dual pulley upgrade, an APR carbon fiber intake. The Lava Gray pearl exterior has an RS-style front grille and covers an interior with Nappa leather seats, Carbon Atlas inlays, Audi MMI Navigation Plus Package, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless Apple CarPlay retrofit. Carfax reports very minor damage in July 2019 but no further details.
2017 Audi A4Allroad (53,000 Miles)

One-owner. Moonlight Blue metallic over Nougat Brown seems to be a common combo like in this long roof. This unmodified example has the Quattro with Ultra drivetrain defaults 100% power to the front wheels for improved fuel economy until traction is needed at the rear. A turbocharged 2.0L I4, Audi rated at 252HP/273 lb-ft, provide the power. The interior has heated leather seats front and back, wood trim, a panoramic sunroof, and B&O sound. Carfax reports no accidents or damage and a good service history.
1982 Audi Ur quattro (TMU**)

This listing reads like a barn-find. The exterior color is Lhasa Green metallic with European bumpers and a few dents and dings. The interior has brown leather which covers the front and rear seats and door panels, a Blaupunkt Charleston stereo, a cracked dash and a few more flaws. The odometer doesn’t operate properly hence **True Mileage Unknown. The turbocharged 2.1L I5 was modified to be brought into compliance following US importation. A 5-speed manual and lockable center and rear diffs via a dashboard-mounted knob complete the drivetrain. Please read the listing for the parts that accompany the sale. The Carfax, for what it’s worth, is clean, but the seller says it needs tires.
2010 Audi S4 (111,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Another modified supercharged 3.0L V6 powers this B8 generation S4 and it looks the part with its Ice Silver metallic finish, tinted windows and black peeler wheels. Please read the listing for the REVO engine and other mods. But it has been driven in the snowy winter as evidenced by the condition of everything under the hood. The black interior with two-tone black/Pearl Silver leather seats, Navigation package, and B&O sound looks much better. The Lemon Squad inspection report OBD scan flagged a P0139, HO2S12 Sensor Circuit Slow Response, which the seller reports relates to an oxygen sensor replaced in June 2024 the code now removed. The Carfax report is clean.
2002 Audi TT Roadster 225 (46,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This droptop coupe previously sold for $23,350 on BaT in January 2022 as the COVID market bubble was nearing its peak. The exterior is Lake Silver metallic with a black soft top and Votex spoiler and lower styling elements. The black interior has contrasting Amber Red leather seats with Baseball Optic stitching as well as Amber Red steering wheel, door panels and trim. The turbocharged 1.8L I4 (225HP/207 lb-ft) spins a 6-speed manual. The exhaust is modified with a REMUS rear section and tips. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2012 Audi TT RS (40,000 Miles)

The turbocharged 2.5L I5 powering this pocket rocket is modified with ECU tuning software, a carbon fiber intake, 034Motorsport engine mounts; and upgraded intercooler, down-pipes, and catalytic converters from Wagner Tuning. Please read the listing for the rest of the numerous mods. Full modification records from AR Motor Sports accompany the sale. The exterior’s purple hue is thanks to the Panther Black Crystal Effect finish. Carfax reports a rear-end collision with another vehicle in January 2019 resulting in minor damage to the rear and right side and an accident report in May 2021 resulting in minor damage.
2024 Audi RS 6 Avant Performance (2,300 Miles)

A practically new long roof in Daytona Gray pearl over black whose interior is equipped with Valcona leather seats to which an RS Design package adds red stitching. Other options include a Drivers Assistance and Executive packages, RS Sport suspension with Dynamic Ride Control, RS sport exhaust, and red calipers. In performance spec the 4.0L V8 is factory rated at 621HP/627 lb-ft and mates to an 8-speed Tiptronic. Unfortunately, Carfax reports minor damage to the left front in July 2024; monitor the report for any updates per the August 13th entry.
2007 Audi RS 4 (67,000 Miles)

This Misano Red pearl fast sedan previously sold on BaT in July 2019 for $30,000. Since then it’s logged about 8,000 miles and its 4.2L V8 has been enhanced with ECU tuning software, a GruppeM carbon fiber intake, and multiple aftermarket exhaust parts. Also, a transmission mount, coolant expansion tank and oxygen sensors were replaced and it now rides on KW V3 coilovers, 034Motorsport adjustable upper control arms, and a Hotchkis rear sway bar. The interior has Recaro front bucket seats which are trimmed in Silver Nappa leather with contrasting piping, carbon fiber trim, and an Audi Navigation Plus head unit with a 6-CD changer and satellite radio with Bose sound. The Carfax report is clean.
2020 Audi A6 Allroad (39,000 Miles)

This long roof is finished in Glacier White metallic over a roomy black/Pearl Beige interior with leather comfort seats, Driver Assistance Package, Gray/brown fine grain ash natural wood inlays, and B&O 3D premium sound. The 3.0L turbocharged V6 under the hood (335HP/369 lb-ft) connects to a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports a good service history, CPO sale to owner #2 in March 2023, and very minor damage to the rear in May 2021 with no further details.
2015 Audi S6 (102,000 Miles)

This shade of white is Ibis and its contrasted by a Black Optic package. The black interior has Valcona leather seats, Carbon Atlas inlays, Driver Assistance and Cold Weather packages, and B&O Advanced sound. The drivetrain is an unmodified twin-turbo 4.0L V8, 7-speed S tronic, Sport diff and, of course, quattro. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but this daily driver’s exterior had its front bumper repainted to address highway wear and other exterior bits reflect the mileage.
2014 Audi RS 7 (49,000 Miles)

This sportback has a Nardo Gray finish that has paint protection film applied to the front end, carbon fiber mirror caps, and tinted windows. Well-equipped, it has leather sport seats with contrasting stitching, carbon fiber trim, adaptive cruise control, and Bose sound. It now rolls on 21” 5-spoke blade-design wheels controlled by an air suspension system. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8, is Audi rated at 560HP/516 lb-ft and mates to an 8-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports minor damage in November 2023. The seller notes the rear bumper was refinished following a parking lot incident. It also has a damaged driver’s side A-pillar exterior trim (see picture 17 in the listing).
1993 Audi 90 CS quattro Sport (311,000 Kilometers)

This is a one-of-none car. It’s an RS design study done by Audi of America’s Design Center in Simi Valley, California. The color is a special-order RS Blue Pearl Effect, the pictured letter calls it Pearl Ultramarine. The interior features special blue leather upholstery, black Durasoft material trim, white S2 gauges, a blue shift knob, an Alpine sound system, and car phone. A replacement 2.8L V6 engine from an Audi 90 was installed in 2011, the donor car’s odometer reportedly showed 100K miles at that time. The seller states that the A/C compressor is noisy. The transmission is a 5-speed manual transaxle with an RS 2 shifter. Spare wheels and mounted tires are included in the sale along with removed gauges, lights, and interior items shown in the gallery.
2010 Audi R8 V10 Coupe (28,000 Miles)

This is listing #2 for this AMS Performance twin-turbo equipped, V10-powered Phantom Black pearl coupe. It previously bid to $86,000 on BaT in June 2023. Please read the listing and see picture 120 for the mod and power details. The exterior has carbon Sigma side blades and a carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser and spoiler. The black cabin has red leather seats and door panels, carbon Sigma inlays, Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, and an Audi Concert CD stereo with B&O sound. Carfax reports minor damage in April 2024, the seller states the right taillight was damaged while the car was being serviced.
2008 Audi R8 Coupe (13,000 Miles)

This first year (for North America) Audi halo car is in Jet Blue with Silver side blades over Luxor Beige interior. Said interior also has an infotainment system with Audi Navigation Plus, rearview camera, and B&O sound. It’s powered by a 4.2L V8, Audi rated at 420HP/317 lb-ft, that mates to a 6-speed R tronic. Please look through the listing’s pictures for the service records that have ownership notes and the pictures of the front frame area as well. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2014 Audi S7 (66,000 Miles)

This unmodified sportback is painted Moonlight Blue metallic and has a black interior with Valcona leather seats, a Cold Weather Package, Carbon Atlas trim, light-colored headliner, and a Bose surround sound. It rolls on 20” wheels with an adaptive air suspension. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 is factory rated at 420HP/406 lb-ft and pairs with a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports minor damage to the left front and left side in November 2014; also a gap in entries from December 2014 to July 2017.
2012 Audi S4 (80,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Another modified S4, this time recently done by a father and son team per the first comment. The exterior is Ice Silver metallic, the interior black with Silk Nappa leather seats, Carbon Atlas trim, and B&O sound. Please read the listing for the list of mods from 034Motorsport and ECS Tuning for the chassis and 3.0L supercharged V6. A 7-speed S tronic and sport diff complete the drivetrain. Carfax reports minor damage to the front and right front in August 2017. The seller reports that the passenger-side fender appears to have been replaced.
