To save you time, in this Auction Watch series we’re monitoring numerous auction sites for Ingolstadt’s finest up for auction. Interesting finds will be posted weekly, and hopefully, you’ll be alerted in time to bid on your dream car.
Auction Watch is taking a four week break while the wife and I head out to drive in TT West. Look for the next edition on September 8th after we drive roughly 6,500 miles in a TT RS. Wish us luck! So until then, here are this week’s listings.
1998 Audi A8 (43,000 Miles)

Bid quickly for this basically one owner car! No Reserve. It’s Mélange Metallic on the outside, Ecru leather with burl wood trim on the inside, and in the 102 pictures it looks clean all over. Power is courtesy of a 4.2L V8 factory rated at 300HP/295 lb-ft that’s mated to a 5-speed Tiptronic. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
2017 Audi RS 7 Performance (34,000 Miles)

The Performance edition is top dog in the 7 series. That’s a lot of Nardo Gray and there’s a lot of power on tap in the turbocharged 4.0L V8, 605 horsepower and 516 (553 with overboost) lb-ft of torque to be factory exact. Behind the tinted windows is a Valcona black leather interior with carbon fiber trim and the Driver Assistance Package option. The Carfax report shows no accidents or discrepancies.
2008 Audi RS 4 (26,000 Miles)

The only mods to the standard 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft), 6-speed manual drivetrain are an aftermarket X-pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers. The OEM mufflers are included in the sale. It’s finished in Avus Silver Pearl Effect over black Silk Nappa leather Recaro front seats and carbon-fiber trim. A Pioneer touchscreen infotainment system with a rearview camera and navigation replaces the OEM parts that are also included in the sale. The Carfax report is clean.
2002 Audi A8 L (85,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Black over a black interior with leather seats, matching Alcantara on the door panels, and burl wood veneers accent the dashboard, center console, and doors. Its 4.2L V8 was rated at 310 HP/302 lb-ft when new and it’s mated to a 5-speed automatic. Please read the listing for recent service. No accidents or damage reported to Carfax.
2004 Audi S4 Avant (135,000 Miles)

No Reserve. After reading the listing some people may pass on this one, but I see a project car you can drive while planning your dream off-roader. See quattro Q1_2022 for ideas. The 4.2L V8 (340HP/302 lb-ft) is mated to a 6-speed manual. It’s Light Silver Metallic outside, black Silk Nappa leather inside with silver Alcantara inserts, and both sides are looking pretty tired. But the Carfax report is clean.
2004 Audi Allroad (139,000 Miles)

One owner, Cali-car, unmodified, and a clean Carfax report! That’s Brilliant Black over a black and grey leather seats/interior with wood trim. A 2.7L twin-turbocharged V6, factory rated 250HP/258 lb-ft, drives all four wheels through a 6-speed manual. It is showing its age a bit, but definitely worth checking out.

If this was a Sportback, I’d be bidding on it! The 2.9L biturbo engine puts out 444HP/443 lb-ft through an 8-speed Tiptronic in this Mythos Black Metallic beauty. Well-optioned with Dynamic, Black optic, and Fine Nappa leather (in black with red stitching) packages with B&O sound. Carfax reports no accidents or discrepancies and that it’s a 1-owner car. Sale includes a set of 20-inch B8 RS5 wheels with Pirelli winter tires.

Who knew a diesel powered car could look so good? Cool looking in its Mythos Black Metallic over a black interior, this one can nearly pull its own weight. The 3.0L turbodiesel V6 is rated at 240 HP and a whopping 428 lb-ft of torque giving it a nearly 4,000 lb towing capacity and this one has a Stealth hitch system. A Prestige trim level, its options include Black Optic and S Line Sport packages, and it now wears 20” HRE FlowForm FF01 wheels. A clean Carfax report too!
