Hello again Audi aficionados! Thank you for clicking on another edition of Auction Watch where we’ve done the internet searching for you. We’ve checked multiple car auction sites looking for Audi models worthy of your bids. Each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi that you’re looking for in time for you to bid on it.
We have one special edition model this week: a 2002 Mark II TT RS Final Edition. It has Audi Exclusive touches inside and out, and a tweaked engine for additional enjoyment. There’s also a Western Canada-residing RS 4 with an Audi Exclusive interior. The elder statesmen this week is a 1984 Audi 4000 S with only 54,000 miles showing on the odometer. This drophead coupe is finished in Ibis White with a black soft top over a black interior that has black leather seats and door panel inserts, B&O sound, and a Pioneer touchscreen stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The magnetorheological Audi Magnetic Ride dampers were replaced under previous ownership. The 5.2L V10 is factory rated at 525HP/391 lb-ft and spins a 6-speed manual with replacement clutch done in September 2022. The Carfax report is clean but the powered engine cover release switch is inoperative, only manual operation works.

The twin-turbo 2.7L V6 runs Stuklr Tuning engine-management software and a TTV Racing flywheel and exhales into an exhaust modified with AWE Tuning downpipes and high-flow catalytic converters. It’s finished in Highland Green metallic over Fern Green and Desert Grass Cricket leather seats with wood trim and an 8-speaker sound system with an Audi Symphony CD/cassette stereo. 1984 Audi 4000 S (54,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends late PM today! Per the listing, the 1984 4000S quattro had one-year-only exterior styling in the US. The exterior is painted black, please look at all the pictures as it seems to have a brown hue in some. Inside you’ll find seats and door panels upholstered in Brazil Brown velour with striped accents, power front windows, air conditioning, and a Blaupunkt stereo. The 2.2L JT I5 is Audi rated at 115HP and mates to a 5-speed manual with vacuum-operated center and rear differential locks. Please read the listing for recent service. Carfax reports damage in January 2012 and a rear-end collision with another motor vehicle in March 2016 but no further details.
2013 Audi TT RS Final Edition (23,000 Miles)

This is the first Mark II TT RS Final Edition we’ve seen on Auction Watch, not surprising since only 30 were built (according to the listing) for the US Market. They all featured Audi Exclusive Nimbus Grey pearl paint over an Audi Exclusive interior with black/red leather seats and red interior trim. The turbocharged 2.5L I5 in this example was modified in 2020 with an EFR 7163 hybrid turbocharger, a CTS Turbo intercooler, United Motorsports engine management software, an Autotech high-pressure fuel pump, and a 034Motorsport carbon fiber intake. All that enhanced power flows to a 6-speed manual with Sachs clutch components. The Carfax report is clean.
2006 Audi A4 Avant (70,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This is a very clean-looking car. The exterior is Dolphin Gray metallic, the interior is Platinum/gray with aluminum trim, a CD/cassette stereo, optional rear sunshades, a retractable cargo cover and barrier net, and all-weather floor mats. An optional Sunroof Package added its namesake plus leather seats. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 (200HP/207 lb-ft) connects to a 6-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but there are dents noted on the driver’s door and right-rear quarter panel.
2001 Audi TT Roadster 225 (25,000 Miles)

No Reserve. One-owner and low-mileage! This fun machine is Amulet Red with a black soft top over a black cabin with Ebony leather seats, an instrument cluster repaired in July 2015, and an Audi Concert cassette stereo. The turbocharged 1.8L I4 is factory rated at 225HP/207 lb-ft, had its timing belt, water pump, battery, and spark plugs serviced in May 2024, and spins a 6-speed manual. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but there are a few flaws pointed out in the listing’s pictures.
2008 Audi RS 4 (168,000 Kilometers)

The 4.2L V8 in this Phantom Black pearl British Columbian resident runs Jackal Motorsports engine management software with 2-step launch control and exhales into Milltek Sport downpipes and a non-resonated exhaust with catalytic converters. Intake carbon cleaning and other service was done in May 2022, please see the listing for details. Inside you’ll find an Audi Exclusive interior with seats in black and Crimson Nappa leather, red door panels, Piano black trim, a leather/carbon fiber TTS-spec flat-bottom steering wheel, Audi Navigation Plus, and Bose sound. The seller notes damage to the rear in June 2011; Carfax reports damage to the front in August 2017 and a February 2020 entry lists a damage claim due to right-rear quarter panel damage from a parking lot collision.
2008 Audi R8 Coupe (26,000 Miles)

This Phantom Black pearl coupe sold last November on BaT for $59,000. Since then it had the rear struts replaced in April 2024. Inside the black cabin are leather seats, dashboard, and door panels; Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, WeatherTech floor mats, B&O sound, and an infotainment system with Audi navigation. Its 4.2L V8 is Audi rated at 420HP/317 lb-ft but the output may be a touch higher thanks to an aftermarket titanium exhaust. A 6-speed R tronic completes the drivetrain. It appears to have a transferable Vehicle Service Contract valid through June 26, 2025. The Carfax report is clean.
2023 Audi RS 6 Avant (6,000 Miles)

The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 (591HP/590 lb-ft) works with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to power an 8-speed Tiptronic in this Canadian-spec Nardo Gray long roof that was imported into the States in February this year. The spacious black interior is enhanced with an RS Design package that adds red contrast stitching to the Valcona seats and red elements elsewhere. It also has rear wheel steering. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2018 Audi RS 5 Coupe (12,000 Miles)

The drivetrain is a twin-turbo 2.9L V6 444HP/443 lb-ft), 8-speed Tiptronic, and Sport diff; a Dynamic package adds a Sport exhaust, Dynamic Ride Control and red calipers. It rolls on Brixton Forged 20″ wheels. Carfax reports one-owner and zero accidents or damage.

Highlights include TTE720 turbochargers, 034Motorsports stage 3 ECU/TCU tune, AWE touring cat-back exhaust, and 20-inch Klassen CS08R wheels; please read the listing for the rest. Options include RS driver assistance, black optic, Navigation, and side assist packages. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but the Lemon Squad inspection report lists some cosmetic flaws and “harsh engagements or slipping” from the transmission during the road test.
2013 Audi S5 Cabriolet (19,000 Miles)

No Reserve. While it looks black, it’s actually Moonlight Blue metallic with a black soft top. The supercharged 3.0L V6 is Audi rated at 333HP/325 lb-ft and pairs well with a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports damage to the front in June 2020 but no further details.

The 3.0L turbodiesel V6 is factory rated at 240HP/406 lb-ft and pairs with an 8-speed Tiptronic. The Carfax report is clean but the ashtray cover is missing from the left-rear door and the net on the back of the driver’s seat is torn.

Low mileage, one-owner, clean Carfax, and Daytona Gray pearl, the only thing missing for me is a Black Optic package. The black interior has heated/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, carbon fiber trim, and B&O sound. The 3.0L turbocharged V6 under the hood is factory rated at 354HP/369 lb-ft connects to an 8-speed Tiptronic. The only mod, if you can call it that, are tinted windows. While the Carfax is clean, three tires have 2017 date codes.

The supercharged 3.0L V6 breathes in through an aftermarket cold air intake and spins a 6-speed manual. Carfax reports minor damage in May 2021 but no further details. Carbon fiber Sigma side blades share the exterior; the black interior has an enhanced leather package with Luxor Beige contrasting stitching, an Alcantara headliner, white instrument cluster, a StarGard anti-theft system, an infotainment system with Audi Navigation Plus, and a CD stereo with B&O sound. The 5.2L V10 (525HP/391 lb-ft) connects to a 6-speed R tronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2008 Audi RS 4 Cabriolet (73,000 Miles)

2018 Audi A4 (41,000 Miles)

It may be ‘just’ an A4, but this Brilliant Black over black Premium Plus trim-level sedan is one of the last manuals from Audi. The 2.0L I4, factory rated at 252HP/273 lb-ft, spins a 6-speed. Paint protection film was applied before delivery to the first of two owners and the windows are tinted. Factory options include Black Optics plus, Navigation and Telematics, and Sport packages. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
