Then, weekly in Auction Watch, we’ll post a short description with key data, a few pictures, and a link to the listing. We hope to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
As always, Quattro de Mayo was a truly outstanding event. My personal thanks to all the members of ACNA’s Georgia Chapter (and other chapters too) whose dedication made it happen. Upon returning home I find myself with a lot to do before launching Thursday for the Import and Performance Nationals at the Carlisle Fairground. So I’ll call this week’s Auction Watch edition an Abridged Edition—short and to the point. I didn’t include a few cars up for auction that had problems (e.g., high oil consumption) but the ones below definitely look worth checking out. Especially the three RS 4s.

It’s painted Ara Blue Crystal with carbon fiber Sigma sideblades over a black interior with Nappa leather featuring silver contrast stitching on the seats, center console, and door panels. The 5.2L V10 in this generation R8 is factory rated at 540HP/398 lb-ft and mates to a 7-speed S tronic. Clean Carfax report.

You’ll be the 7th owner is you win the bid on this Phantom Black pearl over black fast sedan. It’s modified so read the listing for details and it’s showing its age/mileage. The Carfax report also lists an accident in October 2007 without details. But the Recent Service History in the listing, along with what’s shown by Carfax, looks pretty comprehensive.
2004 Audi TT 3.2 Roadster (18,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Another 3.2L VR6-engined TT but in Roadster form. The seller states its Brilliant Red paint is basically flawless in the comments. The Ebony black leather interior looks great too. Clean Carfax report.
2008 Audi RS 4 (86,000 Miles)

The 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) had carbon cleaning in July 2020, the fuel pump, sending unit, and injectors replaced in December 2021, and the starter was replaced in April 2022. The 6-speed manual’s clutch disc, pressure plate, flywheel, and rear main seal were replaced in February 2021 at 80k miles. The Phantom Black pearl with Titanium Package over black Nappa leather looks super clean. A clean Carfax report too.
2001 Audi S4 (55,000 Miles)

Per the comments, this B5 is a 2001.5 model. The drivetrain: a twin-turbo 2.7L V6, factory rated at 250HP/258 lb-ft, and a 6-speed manual. The Casablanca White has a few flaws and it’s over a black interior with Onyx Silk Nappa leather and also a few common flaws/wear. Tires are date coded 2017 but the Carfax report is clean.

Finished in Quartz Gray metallic over a black interior with Valcona leather upholstery, Carbon Atlas inlays, and Bose surround sound, this sedan has performance and cosmetic mods. Please read the listing for details. Carfax reports a sideswipe collision with another motor vehicle in May 2017 resulting in minor damage. A Lemon Squad Inspection Report is also provided, this car needs tires.

A collectable or a quandary? Super low mileage on a 16 year old 5.2L V10 engine without a service paper trail concerns me. Original tires and battery need replacement if this is to be driven. But is there value in keeping it original? Carfax reports no accidents or damage.

A 5.2L V10 with 525HP and 391 lb-ft connected to a 6-speed manual covered in Sepang Blue, what’s not to like? Well, Carfax reports damage in December 2021, read the listing, look at the pictures, and see comments for more details. The black interior has a Diamond Stitch full leather package.
2007 Audi RS 4 (23,000 Miles)

This may be the lowest mileage RS 4 ever seen on Auction Watch. It lives in Alberta, Canada, is US-spec, and is unmodified. Phantom Black pearl over black leather with carbon fiber trim. Intake had carbon cleaning in January 2019 and the Carfax report is clean too.
2001 Audi S8 (154,000 Miles)

No Reserve. A D2 gen made a bit sportier via a 6-speed manual swap, 19″ BBS LM wheels, and KW coilovers. The 4.2L V8 (360HP/317 lb-ft) and the entire engine bay needs cleaning and detailing but has had recent service, see listing for details. The interior, light/dark gray interior with leather/Alcantara seat and wood trim, compliments the silver exterior. Clean Carfax report.

Phantom Black pearl and Black Optic package cover a black interior with eye-popping Magma Red seat inserts. Carfax reports damage in October 2017 but no details.
