Greetings Audi enthusiasts! Thank you for clicking on another edition of Auction Watch where we’ve done the internet searching for you. We’ve checked multiple car auction sites looking for Audi models worthy of your bids. Each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi that you’re looking for in time for you to bid on it.
My wife and I are back from our trip to the IndyCar race at Barber Motorsports Park and ACNA Georgia Chapter’s Quattro de Mayo. The race was good but the Barber Motorsports Museum really made that destination worthwhile. A very special shout-out goes to Eric King and the many, many other people that made this year’s QDM great! I know this is said a lot but it’s worth repeating, the cars bring us together but the friendships keep us together. It was great seeing all the friends we’ve made over the years attending QDM and making new friends this year too. Now for what you’ve (hopefully) missed for the past few weeks, here are this week’s Audi auction listing highlights.
The elder statesman this week is a 1994 S2 Avant imported from Spain (no?). It’s powered by the legendary inline five cylinder engine but you only have until tomorrow (Friday) to decide if you’d like to have it in your garage. Low-mileage 8-series cars is a theme this week with two R8 Coupes (a V8 and a V10) and Audi’s flagship model, the A8 L. Another theme is 6-series models with the S6 Avant immediately below, an RS 6 Avant, and a V10-powered S6. Please check out these cars and the rest of this week’s listings below. The secret underneath the Light Silver metallic paint is a 6-speed manual swap complete with an RS4 and a TTV Racing Components single-mass flywheel—a better way to enjoy the 4.2L V8 with its Audi-rated at 340HP/310 lb-ft. The black interior features leather seats, wood trim, an Alcantara headliner, and Audi Symphony/Bose sound system. 2010 Audi R8 V8 Coupe (8,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends mid PM today! Another auction platform hopper here. This coupe just bid to $80K (May 1st) on Bring a Trailer but failed to sell. It’s Daytona Gray pearl with Carbon Sigma sideblades over Limestone Gray/black interior with leather seats, Premium package, and B&O sound. The 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) is mated to a 6-speed manual for enhanced driving involvement. The two-owner Carfax report lists no accidents or damage.
2013 Audi A8 L (19,000 Miles)

This low-mileage flagship is finished in Phantom Black pearl over a black interior with heated, ventilated, and massaging leather front seats, wood trim, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, and a pop-up infotainment screen with navigation. A twin-turbo 4.0L V8 factory rated at 420HP/444 lb-ft connected to an 8-speed Tiptronic powers the limo. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2011 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (35,000 Miles)

This Spyder is reported to be the only one finished in Audi Exclusive Suzuka Gray metallic with a black soft top over black leather with titanium stitching for MY 2011. Mods include aftermarket carbon fiber interior trim, a Capristo exhaust, and adjustable KW coilovers. An aftermarket body kit was removed in October 2022, also repainting the rocker moldings and replacing the bumper covers, trim, sensors, and more. No Reserve. This full-size fast sedan is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 Audi rated at 520HP/481 lb-ft that’s mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic. The exterior is Florett Silver metallic, the interior is black with Valcona leather seats, ventilated front seats, Carbon Atlas trim, Bose sound, Audi MMI Navigation Plus, a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, and a top-view camera system. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2018 Audi A4 Allroad (41,000 Miles)

The perfect daily here. Scuba Blue metallic outside, Rock Gray inside with leather seats, Natural Gray Oak inlays, a Cold Weather package, B&O sound, and an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connectivity. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 (252HP/273 lb-ft) connects to a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but it could use some detailing under the hood.
2004 Audi S4 Cabriolet (51,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This drophead coupe is powered by a N/A 4.2L V8 Audi rated at 340HP/302 lb-ft that pairs with a 6-speed manual. Engine mounts, axle shaft assembly, and stabilizer bar bushings were replaced, and the A/C charged in preparation for the sale. The paint color is Light Silver metallic, the soft top and interior are black. The cabin has leather seats, wood trim, and a CD stereo with Bose sound. Carfax reports minor damage to the front in December 2015 and minor damage in October 2022 with no further details.
1994 Audi S2 Avant (181,000 Kilometers)

This Spanish import (in 2023) is finished in Volcano Black pearl and the seller reports the left side was repainted during previous ownership. Please see the listing’s comments for more discussion on this. Inside, the front Recaro sport seats are trimmed in Charcoal Grey Kodiak leather and wood trim accents the cabin which has an Alpine cassette stereo. Factory rated at 230HP/280 lb-ft, the 20-valve turbocharged 2.2L ABY I5 is mated to a 6-speed manual transaxle with a Torsen center differential and a push-button locking rear differential. 2013 Audi TT RS (35,000 Miles)

The Mark II TT RS is powered by a turbocharged 2.5L I5, Audi rated at 360HP/343 lb-ft, and it spins a 6-speed manual. The exterior is Daytona Gray pearl with fixed wing delete. The black driver-focused cockpit has leather/Alcantara seats with contrasting stitching, an in-dash CD player, and an Audi Concert sound system. The clean Carfax lists two owners but (see the listing’s comments) this is a one-owner car.
2007 Audi Q7 3.6 (38,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This SUV’s exterior is finished in Calla White with gray lower cladding. The roomy interior has Cardamom Beige leather seats, wood and brushed aluminum trim, a 6-disc CD changer with Bose sound, heated second-row seats, and flat-folding third-row seats. Motivation comes from a 3.6L VR6 engine factory rated at 280HP/266 lb-ft that sends power to a 6-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports an open recall for the Fuel Pump Flange, also minor damage in December 2021 but no further details.
2021 Audi RS 6 Avant (23,000 Miles)

A lot of Nardo Gray covers this long roof’s outside. Inside you’ll find Black Valcona leather seats with Rock Gray stitching, B&O sound, and Audi MMI infotainment with Navigation Plus. The drivetrain is a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 (591HP/590 lb-ft), a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, an 8-speed Tiptronic, and a sport diff. Please search the many Audi forums for info on the starter-alternator issue before bidding. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2011 Audi R8 V10 Coupe (17,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This Type 42 is painted Ibis White (with Carbon Sigma side blades) that wears XPEL paint protection film on its entirety (black film on the roof). The black cabin has Nappa leather seats, Carbon Sigma inlays, an Alcantara headliner, and B&O sound. Mods include 19” Audi wheels, an aftermarket grille, and Hofele carbon fiber front lip. The 5.2L V10, Audi rated at 525HP/391 lb-ft, spins a 6-speed gated manual. Carfax reports five owners, no accidents or damage, but the tires have 2016 and 2018 date codes.
2008 Audi S6 V10 (110,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This is a relist after it previously sold on BaT for $9,609 in March 2024 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with the purchase. The 5.2L V10 is factory rated at 429HP/398 lb-ft and sends that power to a 6-speed Tiptronic. Please read the listing for the service done over the past few years. The exterior is Quartz Grey metallic and fitted with an RS-style grill and tinted windows. Paintwork is noted to have been performed around the car under previous ownership. The interior features white Nappa leather seats, carbon fiber inlays, a Bose surround sound system, and a 6-disc CD changer. Carfax reports an accident that occurred between 2007 and 2008 and minor damage to the front in April 2018. (Please forgive the typo on the picture’s label, this is a 2008 MY car.)
2018 Audi TTS Coupe (37,000 Miles)

The only changes to this Daytona Gray pearl beauty are the perfect day 2 mods: WeatherTech floor mats and ceramic window tint. Options include Technology, Black Optic, and S Sport Seat packages. The 2.0L turbocharged I4 is factory rated at 292HP/280 lb-ft and it sends that power to all four wheels via a 6-speed DSG. Carfax reports no accidents or damage and two owners but the listing states the seller purchased it new in December 2017.
2008 Audi S5 Coupe (105,000 Miles)

No Reserve. The fast-sounding Meteor Gray pearl paint color may give you a hint of this coupe’s performance mods. They include a Jackal Motorsports ECU tune, an aftermarket cat-back exhaust, and an aftermarket air intake. Cosmetic mods are 19” Alzor wheels, an RS5-style front grille, and a rear decklid spoiler. The 4.2L V8 had its intake valves, intake manifold, and fuel injectors cleaned about 3,000 miles ago and it spins a 6-speed manual. The black interior has Tuscan Brown Silk Nappa leather seats (note worn driver’s seat), Carbon Atlas trim, and a Technology package. Carfax reports minor damage in March 2023 but no further detail, could be the dent on the passenger C-pillar (see picture 15).
2019 Audi S5 Sportback (32,000 Miles)

This B9 generation S5 is finished in Quantum Gray, has a turbocharged 3.0L V6 (349HP/369 lb-ft), and an 8-speed Tiptronic. A Prestige trim-level car, the black interior comes standard with some nice kit like B&O with 3D sound, adaptive cruise control, and high beam assistant. It’s optioned with S Sport and Black Optic packages, the only mods are tinted windows, shift paddle extensions, and a dashboard phone mount. Carfax reports no accidents or damage and there’s a Lemon Squad inspection report included in the listing.
