Audi Club Auction Watch: 02.06.2025

Hello again Audi aficionados!  Thank you for clicking on another edition of Auction Watch where we’ve done the internet searching for you.  We’ve checked multiple car auction sites looking for Audi models worthy of your bids.  Typically each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights and include a few pictures and a link to the listing.  Our goal is to help you find the Audi that you’re looking for in time for you to bid on it.

We’re back from the Rolex 24-Hour race road trip and it’s now time to preview this week’s auction listings. The number “8” is the predominant model number as there are nine cars with that nomenclature. Three A8 L flagship generations each with a different engine, two S versions, and four R8s are among the total 22 listings. There are also two modified RS 7s, a 2016 and a 2021, plus two Q7s, one gas and one TDI. It wouldn’t be a typical Auction Watch without an RS 4 and this week there are two sedans and a cabriolet. My pick this week is a very nice looking 2001 A4 with a 2.8L V6. Again, welcome to 2025, the new website, and thanks for reading!

2002 Audi S4 (89,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early this PM! This B5 S4 is 1 of a reported 30 finished in Pearlescent White and equipped with a 6-speed manual for the model year in North America. It last sold on BaT in March 2024 for $17,750. The twin-turbo 2.7L V6 is modified with a 034Motorsport intake and Y-pipe, runs an APR Stage 1 ECU tune, and exhales into a JHM stainless-steel exhaust. The black interior has Onyx Silk Nappa leather seats, Birdseye maple wood trim, and a touchscreen Pioneer infotainment system. 2010 Audi A6 Avant (168,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early this PM! No Reserve. This Prestige trim-level long roof is painted Night Blue pearl which is over a spacious black interior with leather seats, a Cold Weather package, wood trim, CD player, and sunroof. A 3.0L supercharged V6, Audi rated at 300HP/310 lb-ft, pairs with a 6-speed Tiptronic to move you and your cargo. Carfax reports very minor damage to the right rear and right side in July 2012. 

2014 Audi A8 L W12 (39,000 Miles)

The big 6.3L W12 engine, factory rated at 500HP/463 lb-ft, powers this Phantom Black pearl limo. An 8-speed Tiptronic and quattro complete the drivetrain. The black interior has a full Valcona leather package with heated/ventilated front seats, an Executive Rear Seat Comfort Package with an Audi Exclusive refrigerator box as well as a “relaxation” right-rear seat with a power footrest, adaptive cruise control, a top-view camera system, and Bose Surround sound. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear in March 2020, the listing explains the subsequent repairs.

2015 Audi R8 Spyder (58,000 Miles)

This drophead coupe is actually Ibis White under a matte gray vinyl wrap with carbon fiber-look vinyl covering the upper sections of the car. It has a Black Optic package and the soft top is black as is the interior which has leather/Alcantara seats, Carbon Sigma inlays, Audi Navigation Plus, parking system with rearview camera, a wind deflector, and illuminated door sills. Behind the cabin sits a 4.2L V8 factory rated at 430HP/317 lb-ft which pairs well with a 7-speed S tronic. The Carfax report is clean but this was a rental car, the airbag warning indicator is illuminated, and the right door does not lock or unlock with the key fob.

2008 Audi RS 4 Cabriolet (122,000 Miles)

This Phantom Black pearl droptop has a black top over contrasting Silver Nappa Recaro leather seats with black piping, carbon fiber trim, Audi Navigation Plus, and Bose sound. The Dynamic Ride Control is still in place. The glovebox-mounted CD changer is disconnected and an aftermarket back-up camera is installed, though not operable. The drivetrain is a 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) that spins a 6-speed manual and rear-biased quattro. The Carfax report is clean but please read the listing and check the picture gallery for the flaws due to age, use, and mileage.

2008 Audi R8 Coupe (85,000 Miles)

This launch year halo car is finished in Ice Silver metallic with carbon fiber side blades and aftermarket carbon fiber rear spoiler and mirror caps. The black interior has leather seats and “Minor signs of wear are noted, and all gauges and accessories are reported to be in proper working order.” The 4.2L V8 was rated 420HP/317 lb-ft when new and the listing states it’s paired with a 6-speed manual but a 6-speed R tronic is pictured, please read the comments on this. Carfax reports minor damage to the front in February 2015 with no further details.

2006 Audi A8 L (54,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Here’s an earlier version of Audi flagship model powered by a 4.2L V8 factory rated at 350HP/325 lb-ft which connects to a 6-speed Tiptronic. The exterior is Night Blue pearl, the interior is Sand Beige with Valcona leather seats, beige birch wood trim, Bose Surround sound, and Audi MMI infotainment with navigation but the screen doesn’t retract. Carfax reports only two owners and no accidents or damage, but the selling dealer notes that the power-operated trunk lid requires manual assistance to open.

2011 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (12,000 Miles)

It’s yet another low-mileage 2011 Spyder, this example previously listed on BaT in March 2022, bid to $100k, and sold later. The paint color is Daytona Gray pearl, the soft top is black and so is the interior which has Nappa leather seats with silver stitching, white instrument dials, Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, and an Audi Concert 6-CD stereo with B&O sound. The 5.2L V10 is Audi rated at 525HP/391 lb-ft and pairs with a 6-speed R tronic. The Carfax report is clean but new tires were last mounted in early 2015.

2015 Audi S8 (118,000 Kilometers)

Attention Eastern Canada Chapter members, this one is in your area. The color is Havanna Black metallic which has a brown hue to it in sunlight. The black interior has heated/ventilated leather seats, Audi MMI infotainment with navigation, a top-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, and B&O sound. The selling dealer states that the brakes and tires were replaced approximately 5k miles ago. The drivetrain: a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 (520HP/481 lb-ft), an 8-speed Tiptronic, and Sport diff. The accident/damage-free Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in October 2016 that may be a clerical error.

2017 Audi Q7 (102,000 Miles)

This Prestige trim-level full-size SUV is finished in Glacier White metallic with contrasting black roof rails, grill, badges, and wheels. Tinted windows completes the look. The interior is Pistachio Beige with heated/ventilated leather seats, black wood and Piano Black trim, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a top-view camera system, a head-up display, and Bose sound. The supercharged 3.0L V6 under the hood is factory rated at 333HP/325 lb-ft and pairs with an 8-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear in December 2018. The seller states that the rear bumper cover was repainted under previous ownership.

2007 Audi RS 4 (90,400 Kilometers)

Attention Eastern Canada Chapter members, this one’s also in your area. This fast sedan is painted Phantom Black pearl over a black interior which has Silk Nappa leather Recaro front sport seat, carbon fiber trim, and a Premium package. The mods are KW V3 coilovers and an aftermarket front grille. The drivetrain (4.2L V8 Audi rated at 420HP/317 lb-ft and a 6-speed manual) is unmodified. Carfax report no accidents or damage but contains a gap between 2021 and 2025. Also the tires have 2018 date codes.

2015 Audi A8 L (100,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Another limo, this time powered by the twin-turbo 4.0L V8 Audi rated at 435HP/444 lb-ft mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic. The exterior is listed as silver (Florett?), the black interior has heated, ventilated, and massaging front leather seats, dark brown walnut trim, Bose sound, an Alcantara headliner, soft-close doors, and a panoramic sunroof. Carfax reports only two previous owners, no accident or damage, and a good service history.

2001 Audi A4 2.8 (67,000 Miles)

No Reserve. An A4 with the upgraded 2.8L 5-valve V6 (190HP/207 lb-ft), finished in Brilliant Black, which spins a 5-speed manual. It’s also equipped with Premium, Sport, and Audio packages. The black interior has Onyx leather seats, wood trim, some dead pixels in the center display, and a CD/cassette stereo with Bose sound. Please read the listing for items serviced in 2022 and 2023. The Carfax report lists no accidents or damage but does show an open recall for the Driver Front Airbag Inflator.

2016 Audi RS 7 (79,000 Miles)

The twin-turbo 4.0 V8 in this Mythos Black metallic sportback was reportedly rebuilt and modified in December 2023, the changes include upgraded turbocharged, DS1 and SRM ECU tunes, and turbo screens. Please read the listing and comments section for info on other mods and background. The black interior has Black Valcona leather seats with silver contrast stitching, carbon sigma trim, a head-up display, Driver Assistance Plus Package, adaptive cruise control, and Bose sound. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but notes an open safety recall for the Oil Strainer.

2021 Audi RS 7 (59,000 Miles)

Here’s the next generation RS 7, this time in Sebring Black crystal effect with a Black Optic package, but similarly modified like the one above. The twin-turbo 4.0L V8 now has an Eventuri carbon fiber intake, revised engine management software, larger turbochargers, and larger intercoolers, also Akrapovič valved rear exhaust components. The alternator was replaced in preparation for the sale as part of a recall. Inside the otherwise black interior are Cognac leather with honeycomb-pattern Granite Gray stitching, carbon twill inlays, and Driver Assistance and Executive packages. Paint protection film is applied to the paintwork, and bubbles and imperfections in the film around the car are viewable in the listing picture gallery. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but notes an open safety recall for the Fuel Level Sender.

2012 Audi S5 Cabriolet (73,000 Miles)

This Brilliant Black has a contrasting red soft top new in 2020 over a black interior with leather S Sport seats, the driver’s seat memory function is inoperable, stainless steel mesh inlays, and B&O sound. The air-conditioning compressor was replaced in April 2023. It rolls on optional 19” wheels. The supercharged 3.0L V6 (333HP/325 lb-ft) pairs well with a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear in November but no further details.

2015 Audi Q7 TDI (104,000 Miles)

The exterior of this Prestige trim-level S line SUV is listed as gray, I’m guessing Daytona. The roomy interior is black with 3 rows of leather seats, Audi Side Assist, Audi Advanced Key, a CD stereo with Bose Surround Sound, and a panoramic sunroof. The turbodiesel 3.0L V6 is factory rated at 240HP/406 lb-ft and connects to an 8-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear in January 2019 but no further details.

2011 Audi R8 V10 Coupe (70,000 Miles)

This Type 42 V10 has lived all over North America and is said to be 1 of 7 in Brilliant Red over black for the model year. Please carefully read the listing, the comments, and Carfax accident/damage-free report for its colorful past, interesting modifications, and about the replacement of its 5.2L engine. It does have the desirable 6-speed manual with clutch part replaced in March 2019.

2007 Audi RS 4 (88,000 Miles)

This car is definitely Daytona Gray pearl although paint chips on the front and blemishes on the roof are noted. The black interior has Silk Nappa leather Recaro front sport seat, carbon fiber trim, and a Premium package. The Dynamic Ride Control is still in place. The 4.2L V8 was factory rated at 420HP317 lb-ft when new, it spins a 6-speed manual. The seller notes that carbon cleaning was performed on the intake in May 2020 and the thermostat, coolant pump, and radiator were replaced in October 2024 and a replacement undertray panel was installed recently. Please read the listing for other items replaced over the past few years. The Carfax report is clean.

2015 Audi S4 (117,000 Miles)

A Premium Plus trim-level Daytona Gray pearl B8.5 S4 needs a new home. The black interior has leather/Alcantara seats, Brushed Aluminum inlays, and B&O sound. The supercharged 3.0L V6 (333HP/325 lb-ft) is started by a new battery, spins a 6-speed manual, and the power flows to an optional sport rear diff. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.

2018 Audi A4 Allroad (63,000 Miles)

This Premium Plus trim-level long roof is fully finished in Manhattan Gray metallic over a black interior that has leather seats, Natural Gray Oak inlays, Navigation and Telematics and Warm Weather packages. Mods include resonator delete, BC Racing coilovers, and a damaged aftermarket front lip and side skirts. A turbocharged 2.0L I4, Audi rated at 252HP/273 lb-ft, sends its power to a 7-speed S tronic and quattro with Ultra. The Carfax report is clean but the suspension malfunction warning light is illuminated in the gauge cluster which the seller reports is due to the aftermarket BC Racing coilovers.

2013 Audi S8 (46,000 Miles)

The final 8 model is sporty and painted Glacier White metallic. The two-tone interior is black and beige with heated, ventilated, massage front seats in Velvet Beige leather, carbon fiber trim, hideaway infotainment system with navigation, soft-close doors, and B&O sound. The twin-turbo 4.0L V8 is factory rated at 520HP/481 lb-ft and connects to an 8-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports damages to the front, right front, and right rear in January 2013 that were repaired the following month.
