Fellow Audi fans: make a New Year’s resolution to stop spending countless hours searching the internet for your favorite car(s) and simply check out this post every week. Auction Watch is monitoring numerous auction sites for Audi models worthy of bidding on, then posting a short description with key data points and a few pictures to, hopefully, help you find the car you’re looking for in time to bid.
It’s that time of the year again for the big televised auctions. Mecum Auctions was on Motortrend TV live last Friday, Saturday, and yesterday from Kissimmee, FL. A total of 12 Audi are on Mecum’s docket, eight of which are cabriolets/roadsters. Only three remain to cross the block: Lot F82, a 2008 R8 coupe, on Friday the 13th; Lot U25, a 2005 A4 Cab and Lot U84, a 2012 A5 Cab, on Sunday the 15th. A 2013 A5 Cab and a 2008 S6 are in Bid Goes On status for two weeks if you’re interested.
The Barrett-Jackson auction from Scottsdale, AZ, runs 21-29 January so I’ll highlight any Audi on their docket in next week’s Auction Watch. Now on to this week’s on-line auction listings.
2013 Audi S5 (102,000 Miles)

Auction ends early this PM! No Reserve. It’s finished in Estoril Blue over a black interior featuring black leather/Lunar Silver Alcantara seats and Carbon Atlas trim. An RS 5 grill is now on the nose and windows are tinted. The supercharged 3.0L V6 (333HP/325 lb-ft) connects to a 7-speed S tronic. 2012 Audi R8 V10 Coupe (29,000 Miles)

Auction ends mid-late this PM! The 5.2L V10 lump behind the black cabin is factory rated at 525HP/391 lb-ft and that power flows through the desirable 6-speed manual to the quattro drive. The Daytona Gray pearl exterior, wearing paint protection film on the front bumper, front trunk lid, headlights, front fenders, mirror caps, and rocker panels, is complemented by Carbon Sigma sideblades. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2013 Audi S6 (41,000 Miles)

Auction ends late this PM! No Reserve. Silver over black and wearing 19” Drag wheels with snow tires, it’s ready for winter. The 4.0L V8 (420HP/406 lb-ft) had its bank-two exhaust camshaft replaced in 2022 and recall work on the oil-feed filters completed in October 2022. Carfax reports minor damage from an accident to the front-left in April 2017 and minor damage in August 2020 with no details.
2022 Audi RS 6 Avant (400 Miles)

2007 Audi RS 4 Avant (37,000 Miles)

The second imported RS 4 Avant in as many weeks! This one’s a British right-hand drive example imported to Canada in October 2022. It’s currently located in British Columbia and isn’t federalized for the US market and doesn’t have a title. It’s being sold on its registration. The 4.2L V8 runs an MRC Tuning Stage 2 switchable crackle tune. Please read the listing for the service and mod history.
2012 Audi R8 GT Coupe (17,000 Miles)

Another R8 GT! This one’s #217 of 333 but looks more like an F-117 Nighthawk in its Phantom Black pearl finish with tinted windows. In the cockpit you’ll see contrasting Crimson Red stitching in the Enhanced black leather package. The GT spec 5.2L V10 is factory rated at 560HP/398 lb-ft and mates to a 6-speed R-Tronic. The Carfax report is clean.
2013 Audi R8 LMS Ultra

Feel like going racing or do you want the ultimate track car? This one was driven by GMG Racing in the GT America and Masters Endurance Legends racing events last year and was still competitive. It comes with spare parts and an R8 LMS duffel bag, you’ll need to provide your own hauler though.

The turbocharged 2.5L I5 in this Ibis White rocket is significantly enhanced with 034Motorsports and other go-fast goodies. The suspension is similarly tweaked, please check-out the listing for the details. It rolls on flow-formed 19″ Neuspeed wheels. Inside you’ll find black Nappa leather/Alcantara seats, a Kenwood touchscreen head unit, and three pedals to keep your feet busy. The Carfax report is clean.
2008 Audi RS 4 (38,000 Miles)

You won’t lose this Imola Yellow sedan in parking lots. Paint protection film covers the front end, side skirts, door blades, and the lower portion of the rear bumper cover. The 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) is said to have a single-mass flywheel and the 6-speed manual is operated via a JHM short shifter. Please read the listing for items recently serviced. The black Nappa leather Recaro seats have contrasting piping and debossed RS4 logos, the cabin has piano black trim, and the Carfax report is clean.
2006 Audi TT 3.2 Roadster (56,000 Miles)

The 3.2LVR6 is factory rated at 250HP/236 lb-ft and this one mates to a 6-speed DSG. Outside it’s special order Arctic White with a power black soft top and an S-Line rear spoiler. Inside the black cabin the sport seats are trimmed in Ebony leather and a new instrument cluster done in May 2022. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2009 Audi R8 V8 Coupe (33,000 Miles)

It’s not often you see Phantom Black pearl over a Luxor Beige interior and this one has an Enhanced Leather Package and WeatherTech floor mats. The 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) spins a 6-speed automatic. Mods reported by the seller include a Eurowise Performance exhaust, 19” XO Luxury wheels, carbon fiber-look wrap on the side blades, and tinted windows. The OEM exhaust is included in the sale. No accidents or damage reported by Carfax.
2013 Audi TT RS (88,000 Miles)

The sonorous turbocharged 2.5L I5, factory rated at 360HP/343 lb-ft, mates to a 6-speed manual in this Daytona Gray pearl over black interior pocket rocket. It’s equipped with the Technology and Sport Exhaust Titanium packages, and it now rolls on 19” Drag wheels. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear from an accident with another vehicle in September 2020.
2003 Audi RS 6 (106,000 Miles)

Finished in Daytona Gray pearl, this fast sedan has benefited from a lot of effort to keep it rolling along. The twin-turbo 4.2L V8 is equipped with 034Motorsport tuning and rebuilt turbochargers installed during current ownership. Level 10 Transmissions of Hardyston, NJ overhauled the 5-speed Tiptronic in 2020. Please read the listing for other service performed. Carfax reports disabling damage to the front in February 2009 but airbags didn’t deploy.
2013 Audi RS 5 (70,000 Miles)

This gen RS 5 is motivated by a 4.2L V8 (450HP/317 lb-ft) and this one’s mated to a 7-speed S tronic. Its torque-vectoring rear differential was replaced under warranty during current ownership according to the seller. Inside this Sepang Blue coupe’s black cabin you’ll find leather seats, carbon fiber trim, and B&O sound. Carfax reports minor damage to the front in January 2016.
