When it is over 115 degrees for days at a time, water becomes an even more precious commodity, especially for those less fortunate. Audi Club Arizona’s Nic Kelly organized a water bottle collection drive in conjunction with radio station 98KUPD’s “Operation Hydration”, an annual event supporting the Phoenix Rescue Mission’s Code: Red Summer Heat Relief.
We had 22 cars deliver over 165 cases of water to the radio station…that’s about 6,500 bottles of water! We are proud to say this contributed to 98KUPD’s most successful water bottle collection drive since the initiation of the program over 17 years ago. I am sure you are Internet listeners of Holmberg’s Morning Sickness Show so already know they are Arizona’s Real Rock! We want to thank Silvercar by Audi for donating the use of a Q5 to help transporting the cases and cases of bottled water.
