Can’t decide between going for a ride in your Audi and going to the movies? Why not do both? Audi and Disney have teamed up to deliver entertainment both on the road and on the big screen. Audi vehicles now support onboard Disney+ streaming, and two Audi models appear in Disney’s new film TRON: Ares. The collaboration highlights Audi’s push to merge advanced tech with immersive, emotionally engaging experiences for drivers and audiences alike.

Audi is adding Disney+ to its in-car app lineup, allowing customers to log in and stream Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and TRON content directly through the vehicle’s MMI system. Video can play on the central display while parked or on the optional passenger screen while driving.

The rollout covers 43 global markets and is available in new models including the A5, Q5, A6, A6 e-tron, and Q6 e-tron. With this integration—enabled through the Audi Application Store developed with CARIAD—Audi expands its growing portfolio of onboard entertainment apps, requiring only a myAudi account and an active data connection.

Audi’s collaboration with Disney extends to the new film TRON: Ares, where two Audi models play key roles: an Audi Q8 e-tron driven by a tech analyst (Hasan Minhaj) and a fictional “Audi quattro Rallye” inspired by the brand’s iconic 1980s motorsport heritage.

The movie follows Ares, an advanced program sent into the real world, and stars Jared Leto and Greta Lee. Audi’s involvement continues its long tradition of integrating its vehicles into major films, using product placement to highlight both its technological future and its cultural legacy.
