The high-performance athlete in tailor-made suit becomes even more exclusive – Audi launches a limited edition of 150 pieces special series of the RS 6 Avant performance. The 4.0 TFSI with 445 kW (605 hp) is under the livery in bright Nogar blue pearl effect. In cooperation with ABT Sportsline there are even 519 kW (705 hp) and 880 Nm of torque.

“The Audi RS 6 Avant performance is generally a car for lovers of powerful avants. We deliberately limited the new edition to 150 cars in order to keep them particularly exclusive, “says Martin Sander, Head of Sales Germany. “The color Nogaroblau pays homage to one of our big icons – the 1994 Audi RS 2, the first RS model ever. It was the first time he took to the streets with him and immediately became his trademark. “In addition, to intensify the project, the cooperation with ABT Sportsline was intensified. “As a long-standing partner in the field of finishing and motorsport, it was a matter of course for us to bring our expertise in the field of performance enhancement into this very special project,” adds the Managing Director of ABT Sportsline Hans-Jürgen Abt.

Similar to the classic, the Audi RS 6 Avant performance Nogaro Edition indicates its special position with expressive details. One of them is the optics package black glossy; the housings of the mirrors are painted either in black or nogar blue, the windows in the rear darkened. The large tailpipes of the RS titanium exhaust system sharpen the rear view. The edition model rides on black, polished 21-inch wheels with 285/30 tires. Customers can choose from two types of wheels – the 5-twin-spoke design and the 5-V-spoke star design.

Blue also dominates the interior: the seat center panels with honeycomb quilting, the door
Cladding and knee pads are made of Alcantara in this color. The cheeks of the seats are covered with high-quality Valcona leather, the steering wheel rim in black suede. Blue contrast stitching, floor mats with blue piping and a black Alcantara headliner complete the interior. The carbon-fiber trim panels feature an RS 6 logo as well as the “Nogaro Edition” and “1/150” logos, which indicate the exclusively limited edition series. The signets are created in a novel process developed and patented by Audi called “Partial Matting”. The top layer of the inlay is slightly roughened so that an unusual, homogeneous matt effect is created when light falls. Customers who appreciate a quieter interior character can choose the package “Nogaro Edition black”. Here are seat center lines, Door panels and knee pads in black Alcantara; Contrast stitching and honeycomb stitching are blue, all other sizes are blue.

With increased performance, the RS 6 Avant performance occupies the top of the series. Its 4.0 TFSI engine with 445 kW (605 hp) and – thanks to overboost function – up to 750 Nm of torque raises the acceleration value to the level of super sports cars. In just 3.7 seconds, the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h. The maximum speed is limited to 250 km / h as standard; 305 km / h are possible with the dynamics package plus. Thanks to the cooperation with the motorsport partner ABT Sportsline, an increase in performance to 519 kW (705 hp), 880 Nm torque and 320 km / h top speed is possible. This is achieved by the specially developed additional control unit ABT Engine Control (AEC), which ensures that the engine power is optimally utilized by continuously adjusting more than 25 different parameters.

An eight-speed tiptronic directs the forces on the quattro permanent four-wheel drive, which can be supplemented by a sport differential on the rear axle. The RS-adaptive air suspension – the dynamically tuned air suspension with controlled damping – is standard, with Audi optionally fitted with the rugged RS sports suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC). Other suspension features include the dynamic steering and brake discs made of carbon fiber ceramic.

The Audi RS 6 Avant performance Nogaro Edition can be ordered from now on in Germany. With blue exterior and interior, it costs 130,000 euros; with the package “Nogaro Edition black” it is 124.200 Euro. The performance increase at the ABT Sportsline GmbH is coupled to the dynamics package plus and costs 8,800 euros. For decades, ABT has been a partner in motorsport and the world’s largest tuner for vehicles from AUDI AG.
