The Audi Club Northeast is pleased to announce the addition of a new venue to our 2014 winter driving season. We will be hosting an event at the incredible venue of Mecaglisse Motorsports Park, in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci (near St. Donat), Quebec, about an hour north of Montreal.

Nestled in the beautiful Laurentian mountains, the heart of Quebec's ski resort area, this facility is used by tire and auto manufacturers for product testing as well as both corporate and club schools.

Mecaglisse is a year round facility dedicated to motorsports. We will be running their 2.5km road course, the .04km road course and the skid pad. In addition to lapping there will be slalom and braking exercises where you'll learn about the limits of grip your car has on ice and snow while also exploring understeer and oversteer and learning techniques you'll use to handle these situations. No extra charge for the smiles and laughter - you'll also have a ton of fun!

The registration fee for this 2 day event is $325 US and includes lunch each day in the clubhouse as well as water and soda. Participants must have a car which is in good mechanical condition with 4 snow tires - all season tires will not be accepted. SUV's are allowed although not recommended, and while you don't need all wheel drive those with it will certainly come to appreciate it even more! Participants must have a valid driver's license or learner's permit.

This school promises to take the NEQ's already popular winter driving program to the next level at this beautiful and professionally prepared venue. Check out this link to see more.

Registration is limited to 35 students and 25 instructors for this event. Our winter schools typically sell out very quickly.
Registration opens on on Tuesday, November 19 at noon EST, so if you're interested don't delay!
