- With a 500 HP V8 engine, seven-passenger capacity and luxurious interior the Audi SQ7 is already a powerful presence. However, the world’s largest automotive aftermarket and performance parts specialist for Audi and VW would like to add a few words.
The ABT slim body aero package gives the midsize SUV a more aggressive design with front skirt add-ons for the air inlet vents, door strip attachments, rear skirt add-ons and matt black double end pipe covers. SQ7 owners can also add further parts to their SUV such as rear spoiler, fender inserts and carbon fiber covers for the door strip attachments.
Alongside such prestigious highlights, the alloy wheels must also show off their credentials. While the factory SQ7 comes with 21-inch wheels, ABT is fitting impressive 22-inch rims on the car. Different designs and finishes are available. SQ7 owners can go for the popular Sport GR in glossy black or matt black, each with diamond-machined elements. A unique option is the HR Aero rim in dark smoke with matte black aero ring. Also available is the flow-forming High Performance HR-F with its delicate 10-spoke design, available in either dark smoke or glossy black.
Of course, the individual touches must also be evident in the interior. Besides subtle highlights like the ABT start-stop-switch-cap with illuminated logo and ABT integrated entrance lights the interior of the SQ7 can be upgraded with carbon fiber coated ABT dashboard and seat frame covers as well as a carbon fiber shift knob cover.
Of course ABT would not pass a powerhouse like the SQ7 when it comes to performance. The German development team is already working on the signature ABT Engine Control (AEC) high-tech control unit for the 4.0-liter V8. More information on the ABT power upgrade for the SQ7 will follow soon.
