At this point we are just hours away from the official reveal of the Audi Revolut F1 Team’s R26 car. But ahead of the official launch we have more information about what the livery will look like. Racing News 365 was the first to report that Audi has announced a multi-year strategic partnership Gillette, which joins the team as an official partner. Gillette branding is expected to be featured on the R26.
Of course, this announcement goes far beyond just how the car will look. The partnership also brings Braun and Gillette Venus into the fold, expanding the collaboration to include several of Procter & Gamble’s flagship grooming brands. Together, they form an alliance rooted in shared values of precision engineering, iconic design, and high-level performance. These are all principles that sit at the very heart of both Audi’s motorsport ambitions and the brands involved.
The Audi F1 Team and Gillette also announced the partnership with a post on their Instagram pages. Audi commented on the Instagram post “Fast laps. Smooth edges. That’s how we like it.” A fan replied to that asking if there will be a special edition car with Gillette. To which Audi replied “Special editions or events will be presented through our official channels. It’s worth checking them regularly to stay up to date.”
The partnership is strengthened further by the inclusion of Braun, bringing together two iconic German brands. Beyond the racetrack, the alliance will come to life through integrated branding, bespoke products, retail initiatives, and fan-focused activations.
“Gillette is one of the most iconic brands in the history of sports marketing, with a legacy built on authentic connections with fans worldwide,” said Stefano Battiston, Audi F1 chief commercial officer.
Racing season continues to inch closer and we are finding out more about the F1 program each day. The formal reveal of the car is set for January 20. This is going to be an exciting week.
